Mushrooms are almost a meat and just delicious. Ate a portabella mushroom chicken melt last night. These places take mushrooms to the next level as they are part of their culture. When thinking Spain, tomatoes come to mind first, but the mushrooms I would have to seek out. Nice work Steve and Young!!
I just spent 8 weeks trying all the bars on Calle Laurel and Calle San Juan and this video beings back all the memories…You missed out on the best all around pintxo, the Calamari Bocadillo from Torres Laurel!!! If you enjoyed Calle Laurel then you should definitely go to El Tubo in Zaragoza for tapas, it’s way better!
Missing out on the Calamari Bocadillo is a crime! We'll make sure to add it to our list for the next taste adventure. We've always wanted to go to Zaragosa. Almost went this last trip. Maybe next trip.
The mushroom pintxos in Logroño were absolutely delicious.. Who knew mushrooms could be so photogenic and delicious at the same time? Nature's little surprises!
It depends on the particular place. Most places will give a free pintxo with drinks if you do not order any food. But the free pintxo is usually a few slices of chorizo, or some cheese, or something else small. For the more substantial pintxos, like we have in this video, you usually buy them. They are not usually very expensive, though. Usually a couple of Euros for a plate. But the free pintxos are usually available if you order only drinks, just don't expect anything too elaborate.
Wow, I'd have a great time there. I love mushrooms and would love the wine. Thanks for taking us along your trip. I envy your Spanish skills.
Well, not that skillful, but at least I can get by. The mushrooms and food there were amazing! Thanks, Misty!
Thank you so much for your video. We went with your recommendations and they were awesome. I enjoyed watching your journey.
We're glad you appreciated it! Thanks for watching. We really enjoyed our time and food there, and we will probably go back in a year or so.

Tomatoes in Spain are definitely next-level, but these mushrooms were mind-blowing. We definitely want to go back.

Thank you.
Are the pinxo free with the drink?
