I actually missed this detail in the show. Chisato's reaction to the one ring call suddenly makes sense. And her reaction to takina wrecking the metalcovers as well. 'Dang she wasn't kidding.' :D
When this part happened, I was cheering that Takina had showed up the way she did... also I like the fact this clip as her kicking Majima in the face is great! 🤣
That is such a great little detail. After the three ring call goes unanswered, a one ring call goes in. That’s why Chisato has that reaction to it, she knew Takina was coming.
Truly and unnerringly, Takina Inoue ultimately succeeded where Shinji "Mr. Savior" Yoshimatsu failed from the very beginning. Love how this ends with Majima being kicked in the face, and the only thing missing there is "Tower of Flower" memetically playing.
what next season? the anime had an wunderful ending without open questions, a second season would only appear as some kind of special episode maybe ruining our headcanon, so better not wish for anything like that!
@@peaaanuuutz in my believe that isnt what the story was about. the character development got to an end on episode 12 and the second half of the 13th episode just told us a bit about the after story and about someone not dying. I think it got a perfect cliffhangerless ending.
@@RXJpaw It wasn't, but it's there. They showed Majima living so he'll be used for plot reason next season again. Also the guns that was spread across the country isn't resolved yet. Those are pretty obvious cliffhangers.
@@peaaanuuutz I know *that*, but it's not a cliffhanger for me because I wasn't interested in this part of the anime. In most anime the cliffhanger includes the character development not being at its end and that's what I'd be sad about. But that's not the case here so I wouldn't wish for a second season. Sure it would be interesting since the cover of the lycoris got blown but like I said, I only find the two main characters interesting and not the story around them. So a second season would only be nice, for me personally, if my headcanon becomes true. (Yuri romance)
She's like the old Justice League cartoon Flash, where instead of beating his villain to a pulp then interrogating like Batman wanted to do Flash straight up talk to him then asked him, asked him if he was off his meds, then convinced him to turn himself in when he's done with his drink.
Naaaaah. Chisato was like "I'VE ONLY KNOWN THIS GIRL FOR A FEW SECONDS BUT I ALREADY KNOW THAT SHE IS MY SOULMATE AND WE'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR TEN YEARS" the moment they first met. This moment here was when Chisato realized how much Takina truly loved her. Or in other words, Chisato fell first, but Takina fell harder, and this moment showed just how hard she fell.
I've just finished the show. Overall it was a great show. I love the character development between Chisato and Takina. The story was interresting but the execution itself didn't went well especially at the first few episodes which i felt kinda all over the place and rushed. But i can catch up with it at the next episodes.
Strongly supportive. Takina isn't obsessed with Chisato, she is just very protective of her, because, you know, she's attached to her. She wants Chisato to stay alive.
@@asfendotento6157 Exactly. There are... maybe two things she did that are REMOTELY close to being obsessive (or rather, need to be taken out of context to be perceived as such), one being the "answer your phone within three rings" thing, which she implemented to ensure Chisato's safety, the other was her wanting to listen to Chisato's heart, which is still justifiable - she was just curious. (...And possibly gay.)
@@joannamysluk8623 it’s pretty acceptable. Takina is overprotective of her but that doesn’t always mean it’s a bad thing and She has her reasons for it as well. It’s normal to be worried of your partner (girlfriend) when there’s a person that looks like an expired version of deku trying to murder her back and forth. And with her heart, I think she’s really just curious of how it functions and also an excuse to be close to her, which is really cute

@@Wee2Yang Even if she can't beat Chisato, Takina's pretty damn fast, so there's a high chance she'll make it out of Chisato's house dry or only slightly moist.
My only gripe with anime is how they cannot, or will not, kill off a villain. Did the artists suffer from brain freeze and forget that they can create another, maybe more interesting villain.
Chisato's whole thing is not killing so if the villain dies that's a loss not a win. But also they did kill a villain. Remember? In the last episode: Yoshi died. The dude who wanted Chisato to be a killing machine. (evil dad) He failed to make Chisato a killer and was killed by Mika (good dad).
Because I think they wanted the option of a sequel, and realized they couldn't resolve everything with Majima and DA satisfactorily in the time they had. It was more important to finish off the story with Yoshimatsu. I think it's also metaphorically appropriate that Majima didn't die, because while Chisato perservered, she didn't refute his central argument. Rather, she refused to engage. His survival indicates the argument isn't over, and that the cover-up engineered by Walnut is unsustainable.
