Amenra is one of those bands that changes you. Its simplistic and scathingly brutal, but also so human and vulnerable. They've gone between the threads of meat straight to the bone with a simple shiv of music and tapped the marrow of chaos we all have inside- but turned it beautiful somehow.
I saw amenra like 5 months ago .. first show ,.. totally blow my mind want to cry, scream, jump, headband .. at the same time .. I have no idea that feeling that's was .. but enjoy that show as one of the best in my life ... touch my soul this band
@@Nielsfest Dacht altijd dat Wiegedood Nederlands was, sick! We maken dan altijd wel Belgenmoppen maar jullie metal heeft altijd een plaatsje in mijn hart
Now i understand why i'm so relate to this band just right after i listened to the first song, eventho i didn't read any of the lyrics. It's because the music has a lot of pain, and after i know that Colin put his pain of losing his father into Amenra i can feel it. I lost my father too and i'm still struggling with it.
I'm sorry for your loss. A lot of metal music is about conveying deeply rooted and intense emotions. Amenra is one of the best bands when it comes to this. I hope you can find some solace in their music.
I love Amenra, this was amazing and puts the music and the life of Colin into perspective. While my darkest days seem to be behind me for now, I know it always looms. Around every corner and every day darkness and sorrow can appear. It's important to face it and understand that we are here for but a short time. Enjoy the good, feel the bad, it's all a balance and part of the complete picture. Thank you for putting this together.
I got to see Amenra in Toronto a few years ago. I had never heard of them. This music and these artists have had a huge impact on my life since then. It's unreal.
Discovering amenra is like an enlightenment for me. Raw emotion and honesty in their music is what makes them great.

Great description. I feel so lucky to have been able to see them. Will always be in the top five favorite shows of my life.

Deze band is het beste muzikaal talent dat België imho ooit voortgebracht heeft. En daar ben ik fier op.
Ja en oathbreaker ook 😂
@@cadaver1ne635 Add Wiegedood dan ook maar bij de lijst.
@@Nielsfest allez omdat gij zijt 😂

Why has this been out for two years and I didn’t know about it
Amenra for me means massive contribution and nurturing for my soul and mind. Both pain and salvation..thank you Amenra.

Niks anders dan liefde voor deze mensen.
Niet zomaar een band.
Een spirituele verbondenheid.
Een fluister tegen de pijn.
Altijd en overal.

One of the best documentary ever viewed...isn’t about the music, it’s about the life from beginning to the eternity 🖤
You will live past 50 Colin, do it for your fans bro,,keep making great music
He definitely will. He’s in great shape and he’s doing something he loves. Mans doing great and he’ll be doing great for a long long time
Vi a Amenra hace 2 días atrás acá en Santiago, Chile, definitivamente una de mis bandas preferidas hoy en día.
You can feel the emotion this man just exudes into his music!! A new love for this band🤘🏼🤘🏼
Wow Colin's Brilliant Personality. I've Listened To This Metal Band For Several Years. It's An Absolute Reflect Of Perseverance And Resilience.
Had no clue who these guys were until I heard Malakai Black using Ogentroost as his entrance theme.
Thanks AEW
Met this guy at a matinee show at St vitus. Very nice person.
I saw Amenra at The Temples festival in Bristol in 2014. They blew me away as did Neurosis and Stones From the Sky.
AMAZING BAND !
“They’re (my kids) in their WWF phase”
Says the man who made Malakai Black’s theme.
Utter legend.
Amazing man, amazing band!
heel mooi, sterk verteld
super mooi gemaakt
After hearing the latest ring entrance of *Malakai Black* on *AEW,* I can no longer stop listening to this band.
“She’s on the bus, didn’t want to watch the bands”
Smart kid.
Prachtig🖤
Does anyone know what acoustic song they are playing at 18:44?
The Dying Of Light
I can relate
Who is the guy with the beard in the beginning that Colin meets?

Instant kippenvel bij de eerste tonen

@@cripplercrossface3406 Boden from Mass V
Is there a version with english subtitles?

Oh fuck yeah how did I not find this sooner
God that into was fucking brutal to watch given Scott Kelly's abuse towards his family.
I swear that shit makes me so sad

Is ook niet zo hard nodig. Bijna de hele video is in het Nederlands.
