yes talking is so much better :) but sometimes I get an error message, it makes me laugh when it says it cant talk to the back end and then lists this whole IP address etc. I use Home assistant, with wyoming satellite runing on a pi zero 2W and a respeaker hat to talk to it and Olama for llm. Would love more information about the moving lips! Your robot is in need of some blinking eyes I think, something unsetting when some one/thing doesnt blink 😳 lol
That's a neat setup you have there, So the pi is acting as a sort of intermediary to your local llm machine? That's a great suggestion re the eyes, I am working on some new projects right now and will add that to the list, even if it is just a simple blink, (move random direction) and repeat. The lips are a sprite based lip sync system that speaks the input string characters, it was a pain to get them to work in sync with the speech audio!
