All thanks to you, I gave TrackLib a second chance. Their new pricing scheme and their new sound section makes it worth the asking price. First time ever I’ll probably keep such a pricey sub. Worth. Every. Cents. All thanks to you.
I love it that you play the song and mess with it at the end. I feel that too many "how to" video ends abruptly without letting us hear the final result.
I f'in love how much you were getting into that. It was a joy for me to witness your joy and enthusiasm. Isn't making music and being creative wonderful!
Found your channel a couple of days ago, and it is simply amazing to see how deep you vibe to your tunes in the making. Thanks for sharing! Cheers from the other side, keep it up!
Where'd those strings come from? Ninja.... Ricky "I'm gonna try to stay away from the 4 on the floor. I'll probably end up on 4 on the floor" Narrator "He ended up on 4 on the floor" 🤣
@@RickyTinez serious question because I’m self conscious about my own output - what percentage of these song ideas that you come up with in your videos get turned into full tracks?
Oh snap; I didn't know you had this video of you playing the DT2. I'm about a week in to learning it, and I have a ways to go. But I cannot wait to make some jams. And your jams be up my alley; sweet grooves, sir!
Well damn! We were just hanging out, having a good time and then yoooooo - hold up! I love that feeling when the song finally tells you what it *really* wants to be!
Nice 1 Ricky. I have a question about sequencing and processing drums. I often work with drum machines - hard and soft - and the "obvious" thing to do is record each instrument separately into my DAW to have more control over the sound. But I often find that when deconstructed and then reconstructed in this way the drums have lost the "vibe" they had when played back from the drum machine. So I now often bounce down a live recording of all the drums together, dropping parts in and out, then chopping it up and using them like you would loops. Have you - or anyone else! - experienced this "loss of vibe" phenomena when processing parts from a drum machine separately in a DAW?
Damn that jammin at the end was tasty! I want to get home and jam, too bad I just started my work shift lol. They need to hurry up with overbridge so you can record those live jams lol
Nice one, again 😎👍🏻 And also cool how you managed to integrate ‘Loopy’ into your workflow… not exactly how I would love to see or hear it, but at least there seem to be some progress on that one, too 😅
Great video! Thank you for all the knowledge you share on your channel. Curious about your wireless headphones. Are you wired to your computer / sound card for wireless playback. What model / brand are they. Look pretty sweet!
nice music and video as alwaysss sorry to bother but i'll go back to making music after a looonnng time if you have to choose between digi 2 and heat or rytm and ot mkI wich combo will you choose synth will come later... Cheers
Great stuff. Imo… sometimes the best thing to do is just use the loop to build the track and then toss it. I guess I liked what you built around it more than the loop… it was just a bit too repetitive for me.

Ricky: “bass lines will be the death of me….”
Also Ricky: bangs out totally dope bassline in 35 seconds
LOL I swear they almost always happen by accident
@@RickyTinezyo man👋 Could I ask, are you still have Arturia drumbrute creation? It still relevant device in 2024 for dawless?🤔
I like a lot these kind of sounds. You got a nice sound finally, the filtering is perfect for that jazz sample.

Bro it really is crazy how quick you get to a good track. So sick!
Every time I get a notification for a new Ricky Tinez video, I expect some groovy ass beats. And every single time, I am not disappointed.
I love it that you play the song and mess with it at the end. I feel that too many "how to" video ends abruptly without letting us hear the final result.
Your collab with Tracklib is the best type of content on channel. Always great tunes and very inspiring.
I f'in love how much you were getting into that. It was a joy for me to witness your joy and enthusiasm. Isn't making music and being creative wonderful!
it s crazy how much we can push these Elektron machines and still not clipping. I m in the hype right now with the D2
yea often times im like I must be hitting something in the red.. but nope!
My main gripe with my heat+fx is the incoming signal gain staging. @rickytinez any chance of them updating this? Cheers!

Pure joy. Love watching you create a track like this. And the result is 🔥
Man, respect. This was an inspiring video; opened up a lot of potential for me to keep exploring my own style on the Digi.

"That all kinds of jacked up" sound, really made this track. Happy accident? I love those anyway 🙂
8:10 Find someone who loves you like Ricky loves a square wave bassline. ❤
I like more synthesizers than samplers but watched this for the cool track!
"Yo ! I found the groove."
Masterpiece, thank you.
Gah what a tremendous banger. It is so inspiring to see you have so much fun every week.

I just want the digitakt cause it looks and sounds like a metal brick
Love it. Zonin'

straight up guerrilla warfare out here.
That. Was. Awesome!!
killed it!
Are you running the elektron through a master compressor? The drums sound compressed but I may just not be hearing it right.
I had the same thought. A saturator maybe?
This was really cool, man. For a beginner who is venturing into hardware, is the Digitakt 1 a good starting point?
Best one yet.....
“I always put the kicks on 1, 5, 9, and 13, so today I’m gonna mix it up and put the kicks on 1, 5, 9, and 12”

does the dt autodetect the key? can you lock it per track so when you say program bass the key is already auto set?
Banging!
I love Tracklib, but their Keys are off a lot..I have to find the correct key almost everytime😅. This joint ended up being 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
