This is so good. A real master. No special conditions, no insisting on only using his own students to demonstrate his skill on, no obscure empty force demonstrations. Just exceptional tai ji quan.

I wouldn't want to. I've felt his hands and they are of another strength. You can even see how much Qi has built up his hands. There is so much fascia built up and he's got so much padding on that fist.

Worth watching just for Chen Xiao Wang pushing hands at the end. Just awesome. and i don't use that word lightly.

I really enjoyed watching his Form and his Application. The only drawback is the film/video which poorly captured his superb Form; it didn't show his feet as part of the whole of his Form, rather it showed his Upper Body and lots of background. That failing apart, I'd love to see more. Thanks again.

I'm sorry I just don't want people to fight over different ways of moving, I respect all ways of movement and I wish people would get over the styles and come together to make something wonderful

It is funny to see Bing and Ziqiang envy each other,Bing perhaps thinking his technique is better, and Ziqiang that he is much stronger than Bing. And their eyes just saying: this should be freaking my turn with CXW :)

Despite being obviously a cool martial artist, he's probably 150 years old...

have your ever heard of the esoteric native american arts? have have you heard of the aztec war fighting? are those not divine ways too?

  • @couldronofcats

both ways that are true to the practitioners self are divine so please don't go shitting on other peoples arts that only supports infighting which is not something people who practice movement should do, for it stops the flow.

For your information, Chen Ziqiang has tried to push Chen Xiao Wang, "who was standing with just one leg", with everything he has in one of the videos and learnt that his level is no where near to Chen Xiao Wang. And the smirk in Chen Xiao Wang's face was very obvious after he showed off his prowess to Chen Ziqiang, and submitted him. The only chance ZIqiang has in beating in his master is when he is too old to fight, or when he is wheelchair ridden, or bed ridden.
