Nice looking rc rat rod body it's nice to see the company bringing out something different looking think I need one for my grandson lol Thanks for the review
I use a sc5m for dirt oval... and I’d totally love to use a sc5Rear for dirt oval instead... I hope they make a higher end version with better shocks etc
Any idea how this would do on an indoor carpeted track? I was going to pickup a rc10T4.3 for entry level track running, but this thing looks so great I want this instead! I wouldn't be racing, just running the track for fun. Thoughts?
What are the dimensions of the body posts (between the two of the front and between front and rear)? I want to know if i can fit the body on my arrma senton 6s
harlyquin Haha definitely! Black and red trim is my favorite. Think this would look sick with black on lower half and some red up top where they put that stock rust color.
The RCNetwork Thanks bud! I'm definitely gonna grab one if the price is right. I think it's gonna be around $300. Not sure if they told you guys the price point or not.
A SAR would have been cool...but then new chassis, new parts, wait time on everyone catching up, no after market....It would be like the Rock Rey all over.
Like he said in the video, it’s based off of the sc5, NOT the sc5m, as the sc5m is the mid motor version, where this is closer to the sc5 with the rear motor, minus the “racing” aluminum/carbon features and adjustability
Justin Green This is nothing close to the Sc5... This guy is nothing but an Associated affiliate. These are not even made from Associated, they are Thunder Tiger. Cheap ass plastic and garbage shocks.
I hear ya....but they don't know where you're gonna run them....They're usually multi purpose tires, as these are. They did great on asphalt and pretty good on dirt
Yeah thats good to hear, alot of times i got a rtr and the stock tires were ok but not the greatest but, i will always be up grading....im sure you probably do the same.
The Trophy Rat and Reflex DB10 was based loosely on the SC5M and a couple other. rigs.....which were already years old. I'm not surprised there's parts issues now....although the Covid stuff could be causing the delays
nicely equipped out of the box, i'm impressed. it looks like a fun little truck.
It really is. It's hard to impress me these days with RTR's and this one did
I really like the fenderless design on the body. Will have to go check one out in person to see how it looks and drives.
Way to go Team Associated and RCN!
Not a huge rat rod fan but they did an excellent job on that truck! Excellent job on the video!
Nice looking rc rat rod body it's nice to see the company bringing out something different looking think I need one for my grandson lol Thanks for the review
Thanks for watching! This rig is perfect for a youngster. It drives so well, especially with the built in Gyro to keep you going straight
The RCNetwork my grandson is 4 but has a good understanding of the controls I got him started at about 2 with little rcs
I really miss my 81MPH SC10.2FT, mainly because of the old school rear motor setup. I am very excited about this truck!!! ;)
A very nice way to update their RTR line up.
I agree....great departure from the normal AE RTR's. I like this one!
Cool truck, it’s Team Associated too
Yep, they did good on this one
I use a sc5m for dirt oval... and I’d totally love to use a sc5Rear for dirt oval instead... I hope they make a higher end version with better shocks etc
Cool! Looks like something out of the Movie Jeepers Creepers! 👹
Bolt Thr0w3r that's exactly what I thought
Xana Montana 😂 being serious
Wow that's awesome I love that old truck body thanks for sharing
i love this truck. AWESOME!
thumbs up
Looks cool. Would be a nice to the collection👍. 2wd SC trucks are perfect for my kids.
Thanks for watching!
OMG the Rats have made it to the RC world. Nice.
👍😃👍
Impressive truck and presentation.
What would you rather have 2wd brushless slash or the trophy rat? kinda in between both right now.
Other really cool review. Tks man.
Any idea how this would do on an indoor carpeted track? I was going to pickup a rc10T4.3 for entry level track running, but this thing looks so great I want this instead! I wouldn't be racing, just running the track for fun. Thoughts?
That looks so amazing.
What are the dimensions of the body posts (between the two of the front and between front and rear)? I want to know if i can fit the body on my arrma senton 6s
Looks good.
Looks cool
Thats pretty cool
Thanks for watching!
Sweet just want the body
It should be available soon as an option part, clear though
nice, glossy black with some chrome (not a fan of rust) with some big fat chrome wheels might be the go, maybe even an rpm blower.
harlyquin I think a matte black would look sick on this truck imo.
any black, as long as its black lol
harlyquin Haha definitely! Black and red trim is my favorite. Think this would look sick with black on lower half and some red up top where they put that stock rust color.
can this be converted to Nitro?..or is Aluminum chassis availble
nice truck !
Hmmmm.. that chassis looks VERY similar to the ECX amp, I wonder if the parts are compatible!
I believe ECX is a Horizon brand, which is AE's arch rival, so to speak.
Aint trophys supose to have a stiff rear axel ?
They decided to save money and use an existing platform rather than creat a new one
I definitely wanna pick one up. Will they be available on sites like amain and tower? Anyone know when that would be?
Chris Watson end of Feb. I would imagine Amain and Horizon will be the main online sites.
The RCNetwork Thanks bud! I'm definitely gonna grab one if the price is right. I think it's gonna be around $300. Not sure if they told you guys the price point or not.
How do I sync the controller to the vehicle
There's instructions in the manual for this
Would B5M shocks fit on this rig?
You would need the SC shocks.
So some people say there a 2 different versions a brushless with Lipo and another one is this true
jayden rosen yes.....one comes with a Lipo and charger, the other no battery or charger. All the same brushless combos
Very cool . when will the bodie be out for sale, and how much will it cost.
It will be available as an option part down the line....as far as I know, it will be clear, ready for paint
very nice
Here, in the Netherlands. We have a RC Tire, and upgrade parts company named: Reely. Where did they got that from.... mmmm.........
Would the bodie fit a slash 2wd
Possibly, but you'll have to figure out body mounts
Looks really cool. Are you gonna add anything else to it
Not sure...AE needs this one back, but maybe I'll hide it for a bit...
Looks awesome kinda jealous you went to team associated tho
Adam Mcintee it is a cool place...
Looks like a fun little truck - very cool looking and all - but why it is 2wd I don't understand. -not good
It's the platform that AE has. It actually drives well, but yes, 4wd is preferred
Those tires look like the ones on the tower hoobies cutback.
Sweet
Way too cool to bash!
Thanks BP
Wondering how much? That might be the deal or no deal for this rtr
Link is in the video description...
Nice
Sc6.1 review please 👍👍
I was super excited when I saw this pop up on my feed until I started watching and its not solid axle like the 1:1
A SAR would have been cool...but then new chassis, new parts, wait time on everyone catching up, no after market....It would be like the Rock Rey all over.
That looks like it's based more off the RC10SC over the SC5M.
Like he said in the video, it’s based off of the sc5, NOT the sc5m, as the sc5m is the mid motor version, where this is closer to the sc5 with the rear motor, minus the “racing” aluminum/carbon features and adjustability
What Reside said....Straight from the AE, they incorporated a plastic chassis with a rear motor, otherwise all SC5 (m)
Worth it can switch it round ?
What do you mean?
@@TheRCNetwork can it be 4e
@@TheRCNetwork t4x4
Wow, based off the SC5M. Pretty neat.
It drove great!
Justin Green This is nothing close to the Sc5... This guy is nothing but an Associated affiliate. These are not even made from Associated, they are Thunder Tiger. Cheap ass plastic and garbage shocks.
🤔 Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers😏🤣
Exactly!
Ayyy I live in Washington littt
Nice!
Me to
I am getting the locas sc24
👍
為什麼阿蘇士這種車都沒有4wd
👍🏼
Personally, it feels like this doesn't do the Trophy Rat justice. Wish they would've used a solid axle with a 4 link set up like the real thing.
I hear ya! It would be nice....but this truck drives so nice and there's a ton of after market already available.
This rc need rollcage, without it, the car looks good only from big distance.
Why do all rtr come with cheap ass tires? The answer........so you have to buy more of them.
Do not buy! You'll be waiting months for parts. Pretty much obsolete at this point.
The Trophy Rat and Reflex DB10 was based loosely on the SC5M and a couple other. rigs.....which were already years old. I'm not surprised there's parts issues now....although the Covid stuff could be causing the delays
It's a sc10 with an ugly body :-(
Awwww, come on it looks pretty good! I like it!
