What's the best racing series?
Indycar
Formula 1
WEC
Nascar
Imsa/wec
Superkart race around indianapolis would be kinda funny because the cars are so small they could probably all go flat easily on the high or low line meaning you'd just get flat out racing with overtaking being possible basically everywhere.
NASCAR already tried making the cars so slow that you can take every turn flat out. No one can pass because everyone is at top speed all the time. It's a really boring race to watch. And to participate in. It sucks all around.
No braking means nigh zero overtaking
@@thejman3489 NASCAR did not?
@@thejman3489 the brickyard 400 was never made to be taken flat out
It would also be ultra dangerous. Superkarts hit almost 170 to 180 at Daytona on the 24 hour road course. Karts would be a better match on the indycar road course at Indianapolis and believe me I would be first in line if they ran a karting event on that road course
The sheer number of cars with the word Formula, is crazy to me. Just got educated on something
I know right?! It’s like a big giant empire or something like that.
welcome to the fia 😂😂
well almost all of them junior series for f1 so...
Majority of them are along the FIA Global Pathway to Formula One so it makes sense to name them all with "Formula"
If he included every NASCAR series this would go on for a while
Shoulda tried Indycar (oval) w/ qualifying boost (full 750+ hp)
With an agressive setup and 3 or 4 laps of usage on tyres, it will be challenging
Why tho? Indycars drive this track every year and are proven to be able to do it flat out even in quali.
@@ottojablonkaFor maybe one lap. They start to get sketchy because the car is so trimmed out it is on a ragged edge. You don't get that sense on here. Indycars are not comfortable if you are on the ragged edge
@@ottojablonkathey absolutely can’t go flat out in quali trim, they don’t fully lift but are not flat
@@brodielarsen4098they go flat out every single year in qualifying. If you don’t know what ur talking about then don’t comment
5:36 What a heavenly sound ❤
5.5 litres of GM's finest pushrod powerplants.
I think Stock Car brazil can go trough turn 1 flat, if you dont take to much curb on entry and need to turn more on exit
In several Old Gran Turismo Version, the Best Car for Flat Out was the Toyota Minolta with Big Turbo and maximum special parts
I'm surprised that the GT2 and Porsche Cup car didn't make it. The jump in downforce between them and GT3 must be immense.
Dunno about 992 GT3 CUP, but GT2 have a lot less aero than a GT3 and that was a request of AM drivers to SRO.
Yes, the difference is that big-just look at the lap times, even though the GT3 has less power
You would be correct. The 992 cup cars make about 600kg of downforce at 280kph while GT3s are a bit lighter and have between 800-1000kgs of df at 280kph (depending on BoP). The GT2 cars make around the same as 992 cup but are a little faster in a straight line.
The Porsche Cup really doesn't have a lot of aero to work with. It close to matches a GT3 in straight line speed, despite being down 60 horsepower, so that is an indication to how little downforce it has.
Where’s the top fuel dragster?
The Top Fuel dragster would’ve ended in the golf course 😅🤣
Ahh very nice! It’s like the ones you’re mostly know for doing the ones at Spa but on Indy. 👍
Also I like the caption you put on the thumbnail! 😆
😉
Nah you forgot NASCAR Xfinity, Camping Truck Series, and ARCA.
You did the FE car dirty 😂
How? Grooved hard tyres, low downforce and performance which will last a few laps before running out. Meant for street tracks too.
@@anthonyclarke7081he did not go to the limit of the steering angle that the car could invoke without understeer
@@anthonyclarke7081 they barely turned the wheel lol.
@@TU_Gaming that’s exactly what I thought. At least someone’s acknowledged what I mean lol
@@TU_Gaminghave u driven it? how would you know the limits when watching
9:56 Supercar - you turned into the Apex far too early, that car never had a chance to make that turn
I think the f1 car could run a bit lower downforce and still go flat out
Absolutely, even without wings
@@THEWINDTUNNEL on a super speedway the wings are simply there to balance the car out on an open wheeler. The ground effects provide nearly all the downforce, the wings need to provide little, particularly the rear. The downforce from the wings is to to allow a small adjustment in the balance of the car.
7:33 Rexy rawr
South-east Vista coming out of turn 2. I think I saw myself. I went to the U.S. 500 ran the same day as the 500. Thanks Tony
unrestricted NASCAR at Dega?
Some of the corner entries were all over the place
Dang nascar couldn’t do it
well obviously, it didnt last year
I dont think it ever did
NASCAR racing is much more difficult than it seems at first glance. 🤔
That's because of how heavy the car is
Lol, you think it's ez? Lmfao, they hardly have downforce, there heavy.
petition to let monster trucks try this on the next vid with the other racing series
I really like you're videos and I'm just trying to give some constructive criticism, Formula 1 should've been going over 220mph in T1 and Indycar should've been closer to 250 going into Turn 1 and I mean this respectfully, overall still a good video 👍
f1 car didn't have drs
250? More like 241-243 depending on wind direction and speed and that’s with qualifying boost. This was done with race boost.
@@loveybarkley8293 for this video they want cars to go flat out the entire circuit. F1 had to go high downforce to achieve that and therefore it's stuck at 315 km/h. However, it'll be faster to opt for low downforce setting even if it means lifting at the corners, it'll go 350+ at straights and 320 at corners.
Thanks for the feedback! The F1 car isn’t using DRS, the IndyCar doesn’t have the qualifying boost
@@THEWINDTUNNELwrong aero. The super speedway wings on an open wheel car need to be much much smaller. If someone made correct speedway aero for all the formula cars they would go much faster. Like the indycar oval setup
When a race car goes into 400 miles per hour or 500 there is a higher risk that it will crash in to the wall. Good thing that u didn’t add unrestricted race cars.
Its a video game so nobody would have died.
I know
I didn't know there were any unrestricted race series since Group 7.
3:30 I was about to say, there’s no way an IndyCar tops out below 200mph at Indy of all places, then the oval configuration car showed up 😂
Going that fast in a kart is crazy to me
the myth, the dino, the legend, REXY
idea: Racecars taking interlagos turn 13-15 flat out
You should've included F1 V10 era, the old GP2 and GP3 cars and the A1GP cars.
Not sure if theres a mod for the old A1GP cars
How about which cars can lap Daytona International Speedway's oval setup wide out?
Every car in here, Daytona is incredibly easy. NASCAR cars go flat out three abreast with a low downforce setup
I could see the Supercar crashing a mile away 😂
thats a lesson on downforce. I wonder how downforce giants likes Pikes Peak would perform on this.
Can Oval Indy compete with formula in Lemans?
Can a unregulated 2024 Indy car beat f1
No
What radar app do you use?
These videos never show how fast the Indy NXT car really is. They went 215mph when they ran the Freedom 100 here and consistently hit upwards of 170 on road corses
Basically we have a lot of aero or less than 400 hp.
The Formula E should have done that easy. Something is off there.
The guy who recorded this crashed on purpose simply because he hates Formula E.
@Aurawing that's pathetic.
What is the lesson learned? Nothing beats the sheer brutality of the Indy CART machines 1996 to 2003 era not shown here.
Of course the Formula E car would broke off the right suspension when it hit the wall.

it's the Cadillac. probably the best sounding Hypercar rn (although Aston Martin is coming with their V12 Valkyrie. i hope they do better in le mans than in f1 lol)
Off gear ratios
Get out and let Scotty Mac drive the supercar
Is the bigger speedometer a mod for AC? I'd love to have it.
9:52 Im not hating but please dont do such horrible lines, its a theme that goes through your videos.
In this case, you turn in and stop turning again because you were too early, that basically nullifies you going to the edge of the track, and the turn becomes exponentially tighter.
Please, for the love of god, make sure you turn in at the right time, giving the car a fair shot
anyone know the specific app in the top left which shows a radar with the car's livery and track limits?
It’s CSP’s default radar
Can you try cyber formula car mod ?
Did the LMH car have another gear? It was just hitting the rev limiter and not really reaching the speed I thought it would reach.
they are 7 speeds but this one definitely had lower gear ratios than normal
Nope that was top gear. LMH and GTP cars have 7 gears. The gear ratios in this one was off tho. They were hitting over 202mph at daytona this past weekend.
Could you link the mods?
So no Indianapolis E-Prix? *jumps on useless front wing*
F1 cars can do almost any corner flat out
Not at all

Why do all 20 different formula cars, but skip nascar xfinity series and truck series and arca
Shouldn't the formula tires explode? Regarding what has happened that time até Indianapolis, with the Michelin tires, in F1?
No, F1 doesnt run grooved tires anymore, not even Michelin tires anymore. Modern F1 tires are a lot more stronger, plus AC doesnt really simulate exploding tires.
@Nizzino_40 even so, afterall, f1 cara are "road" cara. Even in Indy they have oval configuration, Just to avoid that. Dunno man, but i got what you said

Kawasaki H2R engine in the superkart vs F1 please :)
What game is this?
Assetto Corsa (PC)
Ok but why is the F1 so slow? In a indy config it should go at least 50 kph faster.
McLaren with Monaco setup?
Medium downforce setup for every car in every video of this series
The supercar one was bs..they take a much sharper corner at Bathurst doing 300 kmh..
More like 280, but depending on which Gen3 mod hes using theres always going to be a difference in tires and suspension, aero, etc. modelling. We would need to see this irl to really know.
Indy’s corners are much tighter and longer. Just look at how much NASCAR Cup cars with an oval setup have to slow down.
Yeah that F1 speed is way off, that's not a low downforce setup like even monza. Hell given how much underbody downfoce they produce you could probably take off the rear wing!
How can formula 4 take this at full throttle?
A hyundai sonata has 50% more power 🗿
The indycar isn’t even close to flat out they average 243-246 mph
That’s only with the qualifying boost
Which game is this is this beamNG
Assetto Corsa
@THEWINDTUNNEL thanks 👍
This is a bad test. The entry on some of these, especially the supercar, was not good. Just because you have to take a different line for certain types of cars doesn’t mean they can’t necessarily take it flat out.
Physics in games are always gonna be different irl, especially with all the differences in modelling. But yeah I agree the lines are tacky.
oh formula e...
Formula E has F1 levels of downforce. If all the regular formulas can handle it, so can FE. This person just deliberately crashed it.
@@mrpositronia yea that was definitely user error

@@hunteyplayz1344 and at least something we can call "aerodynamics"
Those "flat out" tests are nonsensical. The slower the car, the easier it is for it to take a long turn flat out. Every person in the world could take those turns flat out on a bicycle!

Not quite, what about the oval IndyCar? It got there way faster than any car. It’s a bit more complex
Speed isn't the only factor. Downforce, suspension and tires also come into play.
Why do you have indycar max speed at 200? At Indy those cars can get upwards of 230

To me. I could have made all cars successfully gone through this demonstration. Without crashing. If I could have done it. I do it in Gran Turismo constantly.

Oval racing is much more difficult than I thought before I've tried the games. But it's still just stupid. Many Americans don't know that some of the cult tracks in Europe had started as ovals in the beginning of the 20'th century. But, they have been changed, 'couse they've been just DANGEROUS! OVAL RACING IS TOO DANGEROUS! I don't want to watch the race and think about the crashes. Right now, Max is the best driver. And he would never consider racing in America. Not because the tracks were too simple, but because they are JUST TOO DANGEROUS! There are too many people that watch the races hoping that someone would crash.
Stop being a little bitch baby.
Chill
@Noman1010-nh6uh I know. Sorry.
And? People also watch Oval racing because it produces better racing. So what's your problem. And Max is the best driver in Formula 1 not Motorsport.
In open wheel cars, yes is it is quite dangerous to race on large ovals, even then, deaths are rare these days.
F1 car not even hitting 200mph is ridiculous. Such an unrealistic and stupid video
We are using the same setup for all the cars in this series, no DRS either
