    Indoor trees, plants and dogs.. very funny ! I have noticed a lot of dogs at garden centers too haha. Well Scott, funny to see you so close to me! I'm about 20 minutes away from there by car. I don't go often as the selection isn't great and it's super expensive. You were only about 15/20 minutes away from greenwoods bonsai too.
    Another enjoyable video mate. Glad to hear that you're feeling better and can smell now. You did go in the right way but it's very much like IKEA! You have to go through everything to get to the good stuff at the end. They do have some nice food there though.
    Will you be doing some autumn pruning on your trees soon? I'm planning what I'm going to cut once the leaves fall. Lots of work here in my garden to get the trees manageable and into the greenhouse ha.
    Take care,
    Alex

      @AlexBraunton so many dogs!
      I have a few more videos recorded and scheduled - I visited Herons today and met Peter haha.
      I don't have too much pruning to do tbh. This year was a major repotting event for me, so they're all mainly settling in. There's a couple o have pruned off camera, mainly due to time as recording can triple the time it takes me. I have a couple of maples to look at shortly, including the big one I purchased so I'll try and capture those.
      This place - you're right. Compared to the Blue Diamond site I've been to up north the selection was far less. I'd estimate two thirds of the plot are the building areas. Oh well, plenty of more sites to visit and spend money at 🤣

    Another great tour Scott thank you. I liked the Cedrus Deodara and they make quite unusual bonsai. Another great selection of trees for your collection. Not got any Japanese cedars yet (Cryptomeria) The Nandina (heavenly bamboo) has a very impresive trunk so looking forward to seeing more of that one as it grows. We have very strong winds and rain here in Cornwall so hopefully I will still have some trees left 😳 Take care.

      @@gaiabonsaicornwall did you catch the flooding down there? It has been crazy here!
      I purchased a Cork bark Japanese black pine today... quite excited by it! That will be in a video soon :)

      @@ScottMatthewsBonsai I'm quite high up so no flooding here. Cork bark Japanese black pine gosh they are quite rare. I think they are grafted onto Jap black pine rootstock. Bet you are excited :-) I will have to have a search and see if I can find one in my price range he he. Will look forward to seeing the next video Scott.

    Great video mate! I find that if you can get red joy quince for a cheap price it’s worth grabbing a few they can be very rewarding and the toughest of plants very hard to kill 👍🏻

      The weather is pretty crazy here at the moment too. Lots of rain and strong winds. Stay safe and have fun with your Bonsai.

      @kiwibonsai2062 hahaha no chop just yet. The weather here has been horrific, mass flooding so I'm spending as little time in the garden as possible 🤣
      Two great videos lined up mate, recorded and uploaded of two great bonsai nurseries...
