I'm just so glad I saw Christine Mcvie live with Fleetwood Mac. Stevie wasn't there, nor was Lindsey on that tour, but Mcvie songs were always my fave ones from Fleetwood Mac anyway. What a loss. RIP Songbird.
Me too. I got all of them but Lindsey on that last tour. 😢
And Mick my god. He got out and danced with the bongo drums for like 10 minutes. He has way more energy than I do as a 30 year old. 😂😂😂
Got to see Christine McVie during her solo time. It was a very small stage in Virginia Beach. She was to play in Norfolk, VA, but the venue changed.😊 Her voice was so angelic. Love to you & now you are singing in your peaceful time.
What is wrong with you people commenting here. I dunno how anyone could be on top form and enthusiastic about yet another interview. We don’t know how busy the band was that day, or how tired, but I think this is a perfectly good interview, and if it was me being interviewed for the umpteenth time, you would all know how rude people can be. I love this band. I am so sad at Christine’s passing. I wish them all the best.
Don’t read negative shit it’s shit from the first word to the last not worth your valueable time 😊
I LUV LUV LUV it when Lindsey smiles and gives Stevie a kiss on the head! I love it when they get along! I sure hope they can bury the hatchet 🪓 and invite Lindsey back into the band, where he belongs!
You can just read his body language, he loves her still,in this interview anyways. Too bad she didn't see him while it was happening only after the fact.
I think the love, distrust and venom they equally have for one anther after all these years will never let it happen. Two flames that just gets way to hot when together z
2 bad she's an old bag ....Buckingham legend
😂. Simple yet so very true. The man had the patience of a saint. @@DougieNelson82
all i can say is when they did this, i welcomed them back with open arms. hearing them on the radio with something new was a such a thrill.
Its 2023 and their music is STILL relevant. Love them all...........RIP Christine............
I always loved John. He is a great bassist and he reminds me of John Paul Jones. He is quiet and reserved. Never in the limelight
Great Band. Dreams is in my top ten 50 singles of all time. Love the songs from Rumours. Wow!! I remember when I heard it back in the 70's. This skateboard juice drinking guy reignited the interest in the song. That album was their Thriller at the time.
There is magic in what is created by these 5 people, whenever they get together.
Stevie's speaking voice is sooo soothing
LoL, yeah like fingernails on a chalkboard.
@@RockmasterVideos But yet you're on here chewing em up....CLOWN🤡
They were great in the 70's, even better in the 80's but, The Dance well there's nothing like it, was at the show, watch the DVD often brings back so many wonderful memories, I have every album of Fleetwood Mac, the vinal s but as I said The Dance OMG 💜💜💜 very lucky to have seen the band many many times but now with our Songbird gone, it's just me and my memories 🕊️
It's my birthday today and as always, I ended my day watching The Dance with my husband of 40 years, still fantastic but tear up a little more seeing our songbirds oncor, they'll never be another 💜💜💜
Awesome interview of all five ! Love it ! Christine McVie 💕💕❤️❤️🙏🙏 ( Beautiful Sweet Songbird ❤️❤️🙏🙏 ) Christine's Muzik will live forever in my Heart & Home ! 🌸🌼💐🌺🏵️🍀💛❤️💙💚🇺🇸🇩🇪
'You Make Loving Fun' came on the radio the other day and I thought to myself "Christine McVie might just be the best not-so-secret secret weapon in popular music".
All three songwriters were magnificent . Lindsey arrangements are genius. But Christine and Stevie just wrote hit after hit after hit. They were the main cogs of the group. They just are not the same band when 1 of these 5 are not in the lineup.
@@brianmichaels5112 ❤
Love this band!
Wish I could have seen Christine and the band at least once but the opportunity never presented itself. I admired her so much. Terrific writer, singer and Beautiful talented Awesome lady.. she truly was FM's Songbird and always will be.
Miss U Chris! RIP😅
You can tell the power of Stevie's voice even when she is just talking! I saw them in 77 in Miami! Great great great great! Everybody dies - So long Christine.
Just saw her Aug 15th in Austin tx. So so awesome. Love u Stevie always
Aaah yes! I saw her in Austin, too, with an ATX-based musician friend of mine. We were completely enthusiastic and enchanted about Stevie Nicks and how she opened with Tom Petty’s song and end with a gorgeous tribute to Christine. Wow.
If you watch Lindsey and Stevie they are so affectionate with each other! So amazing! I’ve always wondered if the two of them maybe gotten back together at this time. Of course it was temporary, but I’ve always wondered if that may be the case. I could be wrong of course .....
Lindsey had been dating his current wife Kristen for about 2 years when FM did this tour. There were lots of rumors about Stevie & Lindsey dating during this time. On an old fan site there is a story from 2 women that said they went to a benefit Stevie was a part of during this time. They claim Stevie and Lindsey showed up together, holding hands and making out during the show. Ultimately Kristen ended up pregnant and Lindsey and Kristen eventually married. So... who knows what really happened or could have happened
@@dayb1938I would die to see that story! OMG. Definitely think Stevie and Lindsey were hooking up during the Dance. Most of what I’ve read/ seen/ heard points to Kristen getting pregnant being the end of it back then. However, who knows what’s happened in the last 20 years. I still can’t believe Stevie wanted Lindsey out of the band over a smirk/ mocking her at MC, the whole band was doing it, jokingly. Also don’t think it was because Lindsey wanted to postpone the tour. What makes you that angry that you give that ultimatum before what could be your last tour together? I mean for 50 years they got over stuff for the sake of the band. Think those two may have been on and off a lot over the years. To kick him out there had to be some affairs of the heart involved. Just my opinion. Wish they would kiss and make up.💔
@@BeTheLight4774
Well Stevie didn’t issue an ultimatum, she is play told Mick that she was removing herself from the situation, and Mick made the choice to let Lindsey go. But I believe what you said as well, there had to be more to it than a smirk and a little laugh. They went through the whole Rumors sessions and tour and got through it, so there had to been something more. I just wish they were honest and let us fans know, and then get Lindsey back in the band where he belongs.
@@Mr.EmeraldTheGreen I agree with ALL you wrote here!
It isn't Fleetwood Mac WITHOUT Lindsey Buckingham!!! Stevie got a little bit above herself to have Lindsey removed!!!
Walking on eggshells at times when they open their mouths. I just wish they could get over themselves ( you know who) to record new music together all 5 of them truly together.
Oh please. It’s been said by numerous people and also documented on film in real time what a nightmare being in the studio with Fleetwood Mac can be because of Lindsey’s attitude and behavior. I don’t blame Stevie at all for simply saying “no” after all these decades. Who wants to go through all that at 75 years old? Gimme a break.
There is nothing wrong with Lindsey’s attitude or behaviour all. He is totally professional, fair and generous. He has a wealth of experience and therefore more than qualified to do the best job possible for the band. He has worked extremely hard and achieved so much with the band and his beautiful solo career. I love him so much. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love Fleetwood MAC and Stevie Nicks particularly BUT she has become so much cold now compared to seeing her at the beginning . Lindsey looks sooo fondly at her though ❤
I agree .Christine beautiful talented and classy. When they joined the band Lindsey said we come as a package and Stevie had him fired. Christine called him and said she had no part of that. They said Stevie didn't like it. Christine and Lindsey have done some really good music 🎶 together. They say Stevie is older and bitter. Who knows. RIP Christine 🙏
@@christinerobbins6512 girrrrrrl, she’s the richest one of them all AND has no kids. she’s living her best life
@@christinerobbins6512the story that I heard about how that happened is that they had a heated argument and Lindsey chased her down. He had her pinned by the neck to the hood of a car and Mick Fleetwood pulled him off of her. She didn't want him in the band after that and the others agreed. They later worked it out apparently. They have always had a volatile relationship.
john and chris at about 11:40...lol so adorable, they're such dorks
Having Fleetwood without Lindsay is like the Stones without Keith.
Having Fleetwood without Stevie is like the stones without Mick.
In short, it ain’t Fleetwood without Stevie & Lindsay. And now Mcvie has passed so we will never have that magic captured again 😢
Does the interviewer think Nicks wrote and sang all the songs?
Everyone knows all five are superstars, but Stevie was always the front woman and focal point for media. Music lovers know it’s the whole band that make it special. But their is no denying Stevie’s appeal. I mean she does have the biggest and most successful solo career of all five.
I honestly don't think that they will ever forgive one another. I'm talking Stevie and Lindsay not John and Christy. However, I do believe they respect each other's Talent.
Maybe Stevie but not Lindsey …look how he’s looking at her. 😻 Very very fondly…
I love Stevie Nicks! She is a wonderful and talented person.
Wouldn’t of been around if Peter green didn’t started it all
(Maybe they said, but I didn't catch it) Is that first long interview in the '90s and something to do with the "The Dance" concert/dvd?
It's from The Dance eta, it's been on UA-cam for years
What was the date of this interview?
OH! Dave Mason was with the band for a bit. Check out his album, "Alone Together" GREAT!
BUCKINGHAM & CHRISTINE both phenomenal.....❤❤ Nicks is an old bag....Buckingham legend
❤🎉😊
Does anyone know when the interview was recorded at the very beginning?
i believe this was mid 97..?

I am so sick of ALWAYS hearing about their relationships within the band. They make it a prerequisite in order to listen to their music.
Yes..you are right. To feel and hear their magic, ya gotta pay dearly for it.
Then don't listen to them.
@@CARDINAL701uh? How’s that? You are not required to listen to their stories!
Stevie just exudes negative energy. My impression is no one really wants to open up because of her. She sits in front of everyone but never fully turns her head to others speaking.
When Christine laughs a bit too hard about the "steakhouse circuit" joke Stevie shoots her a look and she stops laughing.
She’s literally just sitting there. This is the epitome of confirmation bias.
I’m watching it right now actually and I’m watching her turn her head to look at people when they’re talking. So I’m not sure what you’re talking about. What do you want her to put her head in their laps?
@@doomranger6047 she “half turns” her head. She’s in front of all the rest. Her body faces forward. Read the body language there
@@drumsnbass Even if that were true (and I dont see that at all). If we’re going by a measure of “body language” (which is more about the awkwardness of having to face forward at the camera than anything) . Most of them don’t even turn their body at all. Stevie is one of the only ones who even bothers trying to look at the person talking.
Honey, Stevie was literally the only one making any effort to look at whoever was speaking lmao you people are so blatantly biased 💀
I love them but lost a lot of respect after Stevie’s comment about the reunion for that jackass clinton. What a horrendous person they looked up to. They must have been so proud after the things he did……
Clinton was an effective President and did many good things for the Country though he personally was a snake
@@paulmancini3363 sorry I don’t agree with you except your last sentence. If he actually did do anything of any value, it got erased by the total disgrace of what he did to the office with the girl.

Lindsey must be high 🤣
nicks ruined this band over the years ,which is ashame but a diva is a diva
Stevie was the band, as her solo career shows. I only wish Tom Petty had let her join him, it would have been another superband.
Stevie, though very talented is the typical American (full of herself) lady.
Stevie, seems full of herself, all about herself.... poor Lindsay !!!😢
Rude, when you don’t know them
She has a lot to be full of herself about.
