Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss something until you get it back. A normal, solo day in the life of Casey is something I missed. The vlog was such a part of my daily routine, this video was almost nostalgic. Thanks Casey.
Yes, but did you notice his almost aimlessness? Casey's vlogs always were characterized by manic energy and a sense of urgency, even when there wasn't an apparent agenda. With this (ad)venture, he seems lost from beginning to end. At least that's a good theme to explore: A decided lack of focus is his new focus.
@@ronlight7013 I think that was part of why I enjoyed it. Most of his videos lately have a 'purpose,' whereas I got the feeling this time he just felt like creating. Even his little note at the end about trying goes along with that. I agree, urgency is a good word to characterize Casey and his usual (probably majority as well) vlog, but there were always those days that felt like this. He was just vlogging to vlog because he got bored. And we got that church drone shot which is one of my favorite visuals to come out of his videos in a while. I think most vloggers feel the need to tell the 'story of their day' whatever that is, and I often get bored. The joy of Casey's vlogs for me was that he was just telling a story, and that story wasn't always the events of his day. Sometimes it was with music, sometimes with weather, time of time day, lighting, quick cutting, sometimes it's wandering around hallways and staircases. This felt like a random vlog I could choose from his back catalog. But you're 100% right. Beme or something else was always on the back burner, so the urgency was often palpable.

WT 2 videos in a row, please stop it you're spoiling us.
These 9 mins are the best 9 minutes. Made my whole day❤️❤️
I love that he just whips his drone out and flys it over the city haha :) looks ace. under bridge shots and over churches what more could we possibly want.
I too love these shots. But in today's age of drone regulations, those couldn't be legal, right? I mean, wouldn't the Swiss have drone regulations as well?
This is Casey’s Christmas Film 2019: Home Alone version
I’ve been watching Casey for a couple of years and have really enjoyed watching his videos. But it’s not until I bought a drone, and an electric bike recently, that I see his videos in a whole new light. The skill in these videos is incredible. To the casual viewer it seems great of course, but there is so much here to be awed by.....and I continue to watch in awe 😊
growing up in Switzerland you take this things for granted... until you start to travel.
