I recently found out ATW was gone on November of 2018. Train Simulator is retiring all Arriva Trains Add ons on the 13th of this month. I may have never been to the UK, but it's sad they are gone.
I made that journey last Tuesday. The 8.05am Wellington to Chester Transport for Wales train had failed at Birmingham International so my trip to Liverpool was made via Shrewsbury to Crewe and then from Shrewsbury to Liverpool Lime Street. Normally I take the Merseyrail from Chester to Moorfields.
Their toilets were bloody awful! I'm not sure who has the valley lines now, but the toilet facilities have improved dramatically over the past two years.
I had the same problem on Saturday coming from Holyhead to Shrewsbury, the windows would not stay shut, I was lucky I had a jumper to put on, as my coat was very wet. Thank you for taking a look at my video.
Arriva Trains 🚆 Wales 🏴 has been dead 💀 since Sunday 14th October 2018. Over 2 previous years before the covid happened. Now called Transport For Wales 🏴 until around October 3033. 😄
I don't think we need feel too sorry for Arriva, as they've got Northern now ... er. :-/ The new livery looks very smart on the 175 it's appeared on so far.
@@antman09ful1 Round here there hasn't been a train sevice on weekends for months - rail replacement bus service - which takes up to an hour longer than the train, northern rail are blaming railtrack, and railtrack are blaming the new northern rail timetable debacle.
I do feel for you people who are in the middle of who's fault it is that you haven't got a proper train service. Thank you for your interest in my video.

Well sorry about that but the same trains are there but with a different livery. Thanks for watching.

Well Martin nothing changes on our railway does it, no matter who runs them, but thanks for taking a look at my video.
The trains look extra shiny even without the logos.
Thanks for finding this old footage.
@@antman09ful1 your welcome.
@@antman09ful1 even if it was raining.
@@antman09ful1 six years on and the trains from atw are still going strong.
Great video! Thumbs up and greetings from Finland,

Hi thank you for being interested in my video.
Nice video pitty about the weather . Have you seen the new red & white livery transport for Wales .
I have not seen it myself but I have seen a photo, thanks for watching.
3:15 I don't get how there is a northern train on the north coast line? Northern don't run services there?
Well they must of done in 2018 because you can see it.
Nice to see the units, just strange they have no branding. Well done, looked like an awfully wet day 😁 😁
It was a terrible day Anthony.
Their toilets were bloody awful! I'm not sure who has the valley lines now, but the toilet facilities have improved dramatically over the past two years.
Ok good.
i've ridden this train all the way to Holyhead many many times and it is always bloody freezing on board, even in the height of summer!
I had the same problem on Saturday coming from Holyhead to Shrewsbury, the windows would not stay shut, I was lucky I had a jumper to put on, as my coat was very wet. Thank you for taking a look at my video.
That was probably a 158 with failed air con which is a common problem that still hasn't been fixed.
Yes it was a class 158.
Hey Antman, awesome video here! Just wondering if I could use some of your ATW footage for a video I will be making on them, with credit as always :))
Yes mate you go ahead, but please it would be nice if you send me a link to your video.
@@antman09ful1 Yes of course thank you! Apologies if I forgot to last time :)
Nice video, very interesting. I hope your friend at Bangor didn't come down with the flu after all that standing around in the heavy rain.!!
He was never right was he.

Cheers for telling us.
I think you mean 2033?
R they not coming back
You are right.
Great video:
Glad you enjoyed it.
Why? Did they loose the franchise.
I don't know, Oh I think they didn't bother putting a tender in. ?
If there gone, how am I gonna get to whales this year
Wales still have the same train, just a different group of people running them
antman09ful1 still not the same
Transport for Wales ran by Keolis Amey

The new livery looks very smart on the 175 it's appeared on so far.
It makes no difference who runs which company because very little changers, apart from the livery on the trains.
well, they do have lots of new stock on order don't they, to replace the pacers and sprinters (or is it spacers and printers)
That is rubbish and your a liar
Well yes they do but the day to day services will still be the same. (running late) etc. etc. Plus they will be delivered late again AT.
O_O Well
Bye bye Arriva, don't come back.
You must have had a bad time with them in the past Malcolm.
antman09ful1 Transpro is replacing Arriva services?
@@ethancampbell6076 Transport For Wales replaced Arriva Trains Wales
Arriva was shit, but this comment aged like fine wine lmao
Now everyones begging for Arriva to come back!
Government should’ve just took control when they could, and improved it like Arriva’s other operators like they did with CrossCountry and Northern.
Are they scraping them or are they still running 😐😟☹️😕
The only thing which will change Charlotte will be the management and directors. Thanks for watching.
@Jordan Jones it’s 2023 now….
If they're being replaced by northern fail, then you will only have a bus service!!
That's news to me David, that could explain why I travelled on that 150222 to Colwyn Bay last Saturday ? Thanks for watching.

Is that 'rust in peace'?
Great Footage Mike but rubbish weather.....they seem to get a lot of rain in Wales.....Trevor.''
Funny you say that Trevor I too have noticed that over the years, but here in the West Midland we do get our water from Wales.
cry me arriva
Like it.
antman09ful1 i think transport for wales is secretly First Northwestern
They did what they could do within the Welsh government's budget for transport (not a lot) it's fact! I'm afraid.
Oh that’s possible, trying to get more for there money.
Big mistake!
Really ok.
