The level of play in abroad is completely different here. Individual skills is just in another level. If we want to be one of the best bball country in the world or in asia we must produce players in a modern way.

Kai Soto, like a boy playing with men. He doesn't have the physicality or athletism to play against D1 college basketball in USA. Two months of training in USA will not help. He needs years of strenght training and USA competition to even play average against USA big men. He's better off in PBA. In USA you can't just go on height alone as an advantage, there are many powerful athelete in D1 basketball who will just push him around or dribble around him. Philippines needs a new sport if they want to compete nationally. This kid is not an NBA prospect.

Kai Soto, like a boy playing with men. He doesn't have the physicality or athletism to play against D1 college basketball in USA. Two months of training in USA will not help. He needs years of strenght training and USA competition to even play average against USA big men. He's better off in PBA. In USA you can't just go on height alone as an advantage, there are many powerful athelete in D1 basketball who will just push him around or dribble around him. Philippines needs a new sport if they want to compete nationally. This kid is not an NBA prospect.

Dito mo talaga makikita na mas malalakas ang ibang bansa lalo na ang US kaysa Pilipinas pagdating sa basketball. Sobrang advance ng training ng basketball sa US kumpara sa Pilipinas. Mas malalakas, aggressive, and athletic ang mga American players. Kahit siguro bench players or G-League players sa NBA kayang kayang makipagsabayan sa mga pinakamagagaling na players sa PBA. Kahit nga siguro college players sa US kayang kayang makipagsabayan sa mga veteran players ng PBA. Hindi ko dinadown ang Pilipino. Katotohanan lang to.
