Hey Chris , glad to be apart of your extended family !! It really seems like you are getting ahead this year and that gives you the time for the small things which can really make a difference on the farm , keep your head up, alot of people on farms scene are really pulling for you ! Godbless Chris and you and the boys takecare 🐕🐂🐖🚜🌽🇺🇸
I am impressed by what you have overcome from your own family issues and I am thankful for what you have done for me during my medical issues and I have overcome hospice care and off of hospice care. Duffy thank you ! Sincerely! R.S.V
Great to see you bringing the farm back around . Drainage work doesn't get old watching knowing how much positive outcome is on the table . Ready to see the combine in front of the shed soon .
Chris, no matter how much people complain that you're not not doing things right you are at least out there doing something to improve your land to make it better. It takes along time to do it but keep up the great job
It's a very common practice to clean and clear ditches etc . Just that alone is going to help drain farm land quicker in the spring and now you have tile open too should be in a very good place next year. Your doing it right Chris every one who is negative is just jealous keep up the great work!
That drainage issue and the hit your yield takes is absolutely necessary for you to do this ditch cleanout. No use planting if stuff won't grow. Good work.
I have always been interested in farming watching a lot of people on here your doing a great job just keep making videos bud I will keep watching and remember part of being is being a jack of all trades but master of none I'm sure your videos will only improve from here
in the uk they dig out spoils leave on headlands run over it with 360 as you move along helps to bank up ditch adds more bank for headlands but pim guessing different over there
I enjoyed that video. Water management is great content. Great progress on the farm Sir. I really hope it fixes the wet spots. Excited for farming with Duffy 2025.
Chris I'm very impressed with how you are managing the farm and the crazy things that go along with it. Keep your head and keep pushing forward.. Remember Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He will be with you the entire time. God bless
Tile is great until the roots get in . We have had many problems in some fields after many dry years . Last 2 years very wet . More to clean out after beryl and Debbie . This year much better , some we thought we had a mess again . Can’t do much until crops are off . Dig and snake it out …. Ugh . Doing a great job Chris !
YANKO❤tell pops I am friends with the Patterson’s of CT/NY see places rhat I haven’t been in or even roads I haven’t been on in years lol thanks for the content you gots a couch yanko will share I would roll up a few days to give two thumbs to HELP don’t give advice Just tell me what to do I got my tunes thank you PEACE
Was going to ask if you had the choice to straighten out your water ways have your tile run out further gain some field and have better even tile outlets would you rather then the snake paths eroding on every bend and tile outlet filling full of sediment in corners
You have a lovely farm hope you benefit when harvesting from your tile maintenance. Thanks for the aerial shot if all that land is useable you should cash in on it only a. suggestion
Hey Chris, you have your farm looking good. I hope you finding all your tile outlets you can finally get the full use of your land. Thanks for sharing and hope you have bumper crops this fall.
Looking Good! I'm an all around guy, I'd watch paint dry if you put it on, I'm an old farmer, and have done a lot and am interested in most of the content!
Looking good the little things make alot of difference like the ditch and tile line just curious was there many of the lines working properly before you dug them
I think your hay situation (primarily selling) would benefit from round baling and wrapping. Weather is much less of a concern, covered storage isn't an issue, and equipment could be had relatively cheap. Old baler, haybine, rake and wrapper.🤷♂️
Whats the dollar amount on the amout of corn you would of ran over to dig the duck pond? seems like under $100. I was hoping you could get it fixed before that awesome Bobcat goes away
We have a fox blower don’t recall the no. I know its 60” been setting in back of barn for 25 years make you a good deal if your ever passing thru central ohio
Just think back to the mammoth task you faced when you first moved in Chris, and look at how much progress you have made ! Yes there are other tasks you need to be doing, but you are making best use of the machine while you have it and no doubt will crack on with the other tasks as time permits/ They need to be done. The cow barn, would it be possible to dismantle the milking bays and use the space to store hay bales ? Not sure if there is an entrance at the end by the silo you are going to remove that would allow you to run bales in and out ? Just thinking that might free up the shed you have bales in at the moment and also free up the other end of the workshop Keep on keeping on !
Chris, you're doing an awesome job with waterways and farming to don't let the negative people get you down .You're doing good, my friend. Keep up the good work .
Drone shots are excellent and what outstanding progress you have done in improving your farm. BUT, I do miss those Carlisle cycling folks riding through the spilled manure. What an amazing transformation you have made in Sharon Springs. Congratulations 👍👍👍

Greetings from the UK! You’re worried about a bear ruining some corn. I’d be more worried about it eating me or my dog 😬
My two sons used to trap muskrats in the winter and with was there income every year .
Got any plumbing friends with a camera to feed up the outlets?
You can also rent them.
Rite on...😊

P I've already seen somewhere playing jobs before
Is the silo and the barn that you can see on 16:25 on your property?
No it’s not his. Neighbors. I’m not sure exactly what video but he did shortly talk about those building while sitting on his back deck.

why is your ditch wriggly and not straight?

Maybe you're the contact. Another UA-cam to come help you. Give Give dirt perfect a call LO. L.
Chris with your older John Deere’s there’s a trick to help them start, cranking the steering wheel back and forth while starting it
Duffy, I found the tile work videos to be great content. I watch Dirt Perfect who does tile work for Farmer Chris. Good stuff.
