There are two types of modders.
The friendly modders, that helps and makes the lobby fun.
The godmode modders with an automatic rocket launcher.
There is no in between.
I used to LOVE encountering a friendly modder in this game. Some of the best memories I have are from here

GTA IV was one of the most darkest GTA games in history but it was also fun to play
Gta 4 is one of the best gta games out there it's a shame that Rockstar haven't made a remake of the game it's probably better than getting gta 6 at this point

This brings back so many memories! brings me back to xbox360 days it’s extremely nostalgic. Watching this makes me feel like it was just yesterday that i was playing. I can’t believe time has flown by this quick, now im 25.
If only we could buy cars and store them in a garage and have a house, this game would have more players than gta online
You guys had to see me modding gta 4 online with awesome old friends who i miss much. Turning regular clubs into coffeeshops with a lot of 'green' plant decoration + bongs etc on tables. I don't remember the names but there was a place with beautiful nightclub (not massionate) or what ever it was called. I could spawn any civillian model fill the dance floor and make them dance. Me walking around as Italian Mafia with 7 bodyguards in dark suites. Who would follow me either on foot or in 2 vehicle convoy. God mod became boring and we intentionally didn't use it. My most favorite was being able to turn into any gta 4 character or pedestrian and check all of their speeches. There was such a awesome and funny mostly toxic speeches we used to select to annoy other gta 4 players who where so confused. Like some civillian looking player starts talking crap from flirting to " f your mum" what ever. For me this is the Real fun experience in videogames. Being able to do all those. So for players like me. Gta 5 online. No matter how awesome they're built. It will never give me the freedom gta 4 + mods gave espessialy online with people all over the world 'without getting banned'

4 literally just has people having fun, just good ol gun fights and races, no microtransactions or anything.
Pure raw fun, what I hoped GTA Online would've been by now back before it launched. Man I miss the old days, I could fire it up again on my PS3, but I'll just make excuses in saying I don't have friends who play anymore lol.
Tbh modders on GTA 4 ruined the entire game at least for xbox 360. I remember how bad it was they made it pretty much unplayable. I actually gas a burning irrational hatred for modders for years because of them. It didn't matter if it was someone modding skyrim all innocent as can be, my 14 year old bitter ass was like nah all modders are trash!. Of course i know better now and even mod myself on skyrim now but point is modders ruined this game. They would make everyone's Xbox crash or just spawn kill you and it took all the joy out of the entire experience so even seeing a video about a GTA 4 moder now gives me bad flash backs and makes me upset lol

Honesty GTA IV online seems really fun, shame it was relegated to Games for Windows Live and died on pc because of it.
honestly this and red dead redemption is the best most simple online experience with no "pay money now" for shit plus the simplicity of here is everything you need on a map, now do what you want 🙌 👌

No, the online was disabled on the PC edition ( after rockstar removed the game from Steam and re-added it to the store with an update ), the online is working on Consoles “PS3,XBOX 360 - One - Series + or Using emulators like RPCS3”

from my experience considered i do it a lot, i primarily do it to admire coding. also because its fun since its not allowed 👺👺👺👺im not the super hostile modder though 🗿🗿 back when i did mod gta like this i would always do it to help people with sell missions (making their vehicles invincible or killing players that were approaching with clear intent to fuck shit up) i would never really need the cash so occasionally id do heists with people for no pay and just stay on it until we actually beat the heist
@@entity5279 modding for good is acceptable but if you’re going to be a douche with it like use aimbot, keep trapping people etc, thats when it gets annoying and unacceptable

Bruv it's literally the same multiplayer except gta 5 has more to do, the only reason 4 is so much more chill is cause it's dead. If it wasn't then it'd still have the same toxic players and modders we've come to known in 5.

My childhood has been brought back to life. Idk if any else remembers the sultan rs hidden in the bush behind a building way out by the ocean. And the airfield was the best.

I see I missed a lot of fun if modders made it on there 😂
It took me almost 12 years until I even played again unfortunately.
So now I am a lonely low level on gta V online. It's still as fun as I remember tho.
I've only encountered one modder back on 360, went afk near lsc mid city and came back to money falling on my head and my rank going from under 100 to over 650.
I wish you could just pop off the tail of helis or something from vehicles to make them not fully functional like 8:50 in gta 5 ofc (maybe you can in the update with the avenger maybe not havent played it)

I remember back in iv I spent a good amount of time having fun with a modder the airport was the spot I remember when he decided to leave he took us to the top of the map in a car and left me falling in the car alone 😂 was such a memorable experience I still remember it now that I'm grown

Hey ghillie, i have the GTA IV complete edition, but i dont have an option to play online? Can you explain why?
PC version of GTA IV got downgraded by rockstar, the Multiplayer mode got removed, only on PS3, or Xbox you can still play Online Officially, and on PC you need to install a modification

@@VickPT there is the “IV-MP” mod, i dont know how much people play in there, and there is also the Emulation side multiplayer, if you use RPCS3 to play gta iv, you can play the multiplayer on it ( emulation takes alot of the PC power to get it fully working )
