I wanted to freshen up this old Hot Wheels Chevelle today, the wheels really were the worst part, but I think brightening up the paint might actually help it along. This was a beautiful casting that I wanted to look more like a classic Chevelle. We put some big muscle tires on it.

This is really cool. I grew up in the 60s and 70s. When everybody else was getting high. I had a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 454. Back then,you could cruise! Three or four cities around here. But then that all went away. Because fuel went from $.40 a gallon to 1.29. Yeah ..Fuel

@Diecast Resurrection - good show kid. When I was your age the big Chevelles were about a thousand shades of blue from sky to deep metalflake gunsteel blue and when you were searching for a proper color I screamed at the screen "blue, fool!".
