The government should represent the people, not political parties

Danielle Smith doesn't represent the people. She still hasn't learned from her time as the Wildrose party leader.

I am 100% behind Danielle Smith...Municipal leaders have abused their roles, especially those affiliated with NDP and Liberal leaders...We are fed up with socialism inserted into strongholds in cities and municipalities....We have lost faith in these want to be dictators and it's time for accountability.

It's clear that you don't know what socialism is. The UCP have only carried on with the fiscal ineptitude and poor planning that the Alberta PCs did, ever since Peter Lougheed was no longer premier of Alberta. So far, the UCP have made well over $80 billion in very costly debacles and mistakes, and the UCP have also given Alberta a mammoth debt that is now nearly $140 billion. The UCP have also treated the vulnerable, seniors, medical professionals, teachers, students, rural property owners, the environment, and democracy in Alberta with disdain. Danielle Smith angers constituents, contradicts herself, tells so many lies, flip flops, backtracks, and does many very costly debacles. Former Conservative politicians in Alberta said that they don't trust Danielle Smith and the UCP, because they are so dishonest. The only good and sensible Conservative premier in Alberta was Peter Lougheed. There were absolutely no others at all.

As for abusing their role, that's Danielle Smith, and the UCP. Too bad she is still very green when it comes to political matters, in relation to what she can and cannot do. Former Conservative politicians in Alberta, and in Canada, have said that what Danielle Smith is trying to do, won't succeed. They are correct. Danielle Smith will have to find out the hard way.

Local elections should be based on party affiliation with the federal government parties the people who vote in municipal elections should know who politicians of local elections who they vote for. I won't to know who my mayor votes for so i know where they come from.

No we don't. Besides that, Danielle Smith is on a power grab here, and is also contradicting herself, once again. A recent video clip has surfaced, showing Danielle Smith talking, around 2 years ago, saying that municipal governments should have autonomy, and should be allowed to make their own decisions. Danielle Smith won't complete a full term as premier of Alberta, because she angers constituents, contradicts herself, tells so many lies, flip flops, backtracks, and does very costly debacles. There are people who forget what Danielle Smith was like, when she was the Wildrose party leader. Former Conservative politicians have also made it clear that what Danielle Smith is trying to do, won't succeed. They are correct.

So, you support a dictatorship? Interesting.
Danielle Smith really has no clue as to what she can and cannot do, and former Conservative politicians have pointed that out.
Danielle Smith and the UCP have made bills, and acts that had to be redone, right after they were created, or they were deemed invalid, because they aren't legal.
Danielle Smith proves that she doesn't support democracy, because of different things she does.
Danielle Smith wouldn't allow by-elections to happen in vacant ridings, which lacked an MLA. Instead of running in the vacant riding of Calgary Elbow, where a UCP MLA, Doug Schweitzer, stepped down, without completing his term as an MLA, Danielle Smith chose to run in the riding of Brooks Medicine Hat, where a UCP MLA, Michaela Frey, stepped down, without completing her term as an MLA, just so Danielle Smith could run there. Danielle Smith gave Michaela Frey a well paying, pointless position in return.
Alberta has the lowest amount of Legislature sittings of any provincial or territorial government in Canada. Danielle Smith reduced it even more. In 2023, the Alberta Legislature had only 5 weeks of sessions.
The UCP passes controversial legislation, before a weekend, or before a long weekend, thinking Albertans wouldn't notice.
Danielle Smith and the UCP created Bill 8, which changes the gift limit amounts MLAs in Alberta can receive, which opens the door for MLAs to accept bribes. Bill 8 also prevents the Alberta Ethics Commissioner from being able to investigate MLAs in Alberta who are involved with unethical conduct, before a provincial election, making it so that the MLAs can run in the provincial election.
The UCP have only carried on with the fiscal ineptitude and poor planning that the Alberta PCs did, ever since Don Getty was premier of Alberta.
So far, the UCP have made well over $80 billion in very costly debacles and mistakes, and the UCP have also given Alberta a mammoth debt that that now nearly $140 billion.
The UCP have also treated the vulnerable, seniors, medical professionals, teachers, students, rural property owners, and the environment in Alberta with disdain.
Danielle Smith's arrogance, smug attitude, contradictions, lies, backtracking, and very costly debacles, will catch up to her.
Former Conservative politicians in Alberta have said that they don't trust Danielle Smith and the UCP, because they are so dishonest. They are correct.
The only good and sensible Conservative premier in Alberta was Peter Lougheed, and even he didn't trust Danielle Smith.

So, you support a dictatorship. That's what Danielle Smith and the UCP are having.
Former Conservative politicians, have even acknowledged that that's what she is doing. Municipal leaders in Alberta, including rural municipal leaders, also don't agree with what Danielle Smith and the UCP are doing either.
Danielle Smith angers constituents, contradicts herself, tells so many lies, flip flops, backtracks, and does very costly debacles.
She won't complete a full term as premier of Alberta.

The oil & gas industry IS Canada’s ECONOMY & the BACKBONE of this country!! Where do you think the MONEY comes from to PAY for programs & benefits for Albertans & Canadians?
NOT the federal government! Alberta, who PROVIDES THE MOST MONEY, Saskatchewan & British Columbia. Without the oil & gas industry THERE IS NO MONEY!!! ONLY AN IDIOT would shut down this industry.
Canada’s emissions are 1.6% --- which is NOTHING!!! Alberta has ALWAYS developed the oil sands as environmentally friendly as possible. WE HAVE BEEN THE LEADER!!!
Canadians being FORCED to pay carbon taxes (which are NOT a climate plan, but a TAX Trudeau is TAXING, DO NOT AFFECT EMISSIONS ANYWHERE & particularly NOT WORLDWIDE. Since inception, emissions HAVE NOT been affected, will NEVER be affected & it’s a MONEY GRAB which makes EVERYTHING more expensive, while providing NO BENEFIT except Canadians struggling financially more & more.
Without oil & gas, there is NO PRODUCT!! Oil & gas is used to produce clothes, footwear, heart valves, prosthetic limbs, cell phones, car parts, & EVERYTHING WE RELY ON, ON A DAILY BASIS! There is NO green energy that has the power output of fossil fuels or manufactures goods as cost effectively.
Canada has an INCOMPETENT, EXTREMIST IDIOT at the helm! A Drama Teacher that has NO EDUCATION, NO WORK EXPERIENCE, NO LIFE EXPERIENCE & wants to PUSH this country into communism. Don’t believe me, go online & look up the Great Reset New World Oder & Klaus Schwab. It outlines their AGENDA for the world -- 1 world government, erasure of sovereignty as an independent nation & no democracy.

Former Conservative politicians have also said that what Danielle Smith is trying to do, won't succeed.
      They are correct on that.
To prove they are clueless, they have no idea as to what Danielle Smith was like as the Wildrose party leader, and how that ended for her.
