Are you at point where u feel your finances are pulling you away from your dreams. It’s that tug of war with self that got this recommended to me soooo maybe same same... or UA-cam just threw u a curve ball... 🤦🏾♂️😂💯
@@robjohnson8861 no, the Taiwanese didn't let go. their strategy is defensive, the more the other team pulls back, the further their angle of lean which means one or two may slip and then the dominos fall, that's when they go on the attack. they do it against bigger and stronger teams (mainly europeans). when they go against other asian teams like China they go on the attack first because they are physically stronger.
@@chenspeed You can clearly see the other teams fall back. The only way that happens is if there is a collective letting go. I have not noticed it when the Chinese arent competing.
@@robjohnson8861 if you say so 🤷🏻♂️. This is a competitive sport, I'm sure if letting go would yield an advantage then 1. Everyone would do it. 2. The rules wouldn't allow it.
Watch This. The main muscle focused on in this sport is the legs, as they’re a more powerful and bigger muscle and the hands are just there to grip the rope, therefore push with the legs.
Your legs are doing all the work, so yes it is pushing. Your hands are just holding the same spot on the rope the entire time. It's actually the same concept as rowing - you push with your legs and your hands are just holding the oars. I know it's somewhat counter-intuitive, but you'll understand as soon as you participate.
The Taiwanese strategy is effective and always the same: wait out the other guys, then attack when they're spent. (Doesn't the Irish coach understand that the called responses from his team guys wastes oxygen?)
Brilliant😂😂, if you had told me that I would find 8 Fellas from the pub trying to pull 8 fellas from Chinese taipei Fascinating I would never have believed you!!🤣🤣
The clash of culture is why they were defeated. The last thing you do with any patient culture or person is be aggressive. They applied the wronge muscles and lost culturally. It's not an insult.
@@bryansinger8906 if they had a strategy it was far inferior. There was no change in game plan either. It seemed like they just downed a few pints, tucked their shirts in and was told to pull hard on something. The Irishmen were completely outclassed.
omfg hate when people think Asians are weak every time an Asian win in any strength sport, they always think Asian are just using technique like strength have nothing to do with it ffs Asians are just as strong as any other race.
The Taipei team just let the Irish team waste their strenght on the first part, then when the Irish team loses most of its balance because when they get close to done they lean back, then the Taipei uses the energy they were keeping to just make them fall and pull all at once.
Bert Lajo i’m not the guy, you should tell him to check his definitions. i’m just saying he was yelling that in order for them to keep rhythm. I’m talking about the purpose of him yelling.
@@timmywu6610 again nope sir, there's nothin to argue about the "yelling" thing... thats what coaches do, you conpletely miss the point of yelling the wrong word perse, thats the one im pointing on.
Having competed in the sport of Tug of war myself for 18 yrs indoor and outdoor its all down to intense training and dedication and technique the Taipei team have always been a very good club and excellent in the sport
At no point in my life, have I looked up tug of war, so why is this being recommended?
Dread it fear it tug of war is enevitable.

Cux your black
I think Asian team was holding getting them tired and once they saw they were tired they actually went into offense. Pretty cool to see
I think the yellows are significantly bigger
The Chinese seem to let go and when the other teams falls they take over. Noticed on several of their wins.

No. Your not.
No your not

Gas and brake
Coach: Push!!!
Team: (starts pulling)
Push means push with your legs
Chinese taipei team is so cool
Nah
Nah
Taiwan
It's 'Taiwan' , not 'Chinese Taipei' fml 🤦♂️
Don't bend to Chinese communism
I love how the main word being used is "PUSH" at an event solely based upon Pulling..

@@897shadow Your explanation of gravity must be unique as well.
@@watchthis.5094 they are pulling the other team, but pushing with the legs
@@watchthis.5094 So you dont think they are pushing with their legs and it is just their weight that is only at play here?

The Tiwanese are strong in tug of war game, after watching tug of war games in youtube.
Irish fans were quietly confident.. Next minute lol
Legend has it... them guys are still “PUSH”ing that rope. Even though they’re pulling.
The Taiwanese strategy is effective and always the same: wait out the other guys, then attack when they're spent. (Doesn't the Irish coach understand that the called responses from his team guys wastes oxygen?)
They've watched too many movies where the sheer power of Celtic men roaring is enough to defeat orcs, dragons and the English.
Thomas haha
Also, the swinging. That momentum has a lag point that can be taken advantage of by the other team.
This is an anerobic sport and the chanting helps them to keep breathing regularly.
台灣一直都很強
this is how the pyramids were built
Awesome 🙌👍🙌
Good job dont mind who more strong love Northern Ireland 😘😘😘 from Thailand
めっちゃレベル高い!頑張れ!

The Irish may have had too much Guinness. Could keep their legs straight.

Irish skipped leg day
How embarrassing for the Irishmen
Why? The Other teams strategy is great.

Ryan Perkins big IQ
The second dude on the Irish team was doing all the work lmfao
These Irish can't beat the organised strength of the Taiwanese. irish are no match.
You need Jack Charlton here to sort these boys in green
Do the Chinese dudes have a way to get the irish dudes off balance and win? Or do the irish dudes just not have very good balance?
The Taipei team just let the Irish team waste their strenght on the first part, then when the Irish team loses most of its balance because when they get close to done they lean back, then the Taipei uses the energy they were keeping to just make them fall and pull all at once.
Taiwan

Geez how can you even think of winning when keep yelling PUSH to your team, basic.. you pull it as hard as if your life hangs on it.
Bert Lajo it’s to keep rhythm with your team so you can maximize force put into the rope.

NO Chinese Taipei IS TAIWAN
They trained really hard.

They tapped like Mcgregor
no offence, I am from Taiwan, our team are all high school students, why can't the opponant send the same-aged counterparts?

Legs strength play a major role ,ireland players thighs look weaker than chineese players
Chinese are shorter so their thighs look proportionately bigger. Not sure if they are actually bigger/stronger tho
They r not Chinese, they r Taiwanese
Orang Indonesia mah caranya beda, ini tekhnik yg benar, tp ga seruh yah...!

You favor the ireland team. That why video always on them. You not a team player, and asian still win.
Ryan Duong with your English, you sound more Asian then the fucking Chinese team😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dylan Harper hahah, you right. English is my second language.

Did they honestly think they could match the coordination and leg strength of Asian dudes
