Hi Peter! It's been awhile....thank you for watching and commenting. I don't get out as frequently as when I first started, but found a pretty good routine to balance it all! 😀 Have a fantastic day! 😀📸
Looks like a cool hiking spot, but maybe a little bit more time along the stream could reveal some cool wildlife, Those fiddle heads looked tasty. Thanks for sharing your morning with us!
There are some beaver dams in the wetland area, but I didn't see anything. I did see some wild turkeys, but I wasn't able to get a good photo of them or any video. I think earlier in the morning, I would see a lot more wildlife, including lots of birds. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a fantastic day!
Same! I am currently in a Master Naturalist program in my area and have been enjoying learning more about my area. And iNaturalist is one of my favorite apps. I am sure I pull it out like a dozen times on a hike! Have a fantastic day! 😀📸
I’m watching this just after I got back from my own photography outing 😀 Looks like a pretty place with the waterfall and old farm house. I really like your wisteria shot with the two nicely focused flowers in the middle of the frame and the out of focus golden leaves in the background around the edges. Very nicely composed! How do you find the ultra wide focal lengths on the 17-28 lens? Coincidentally the theme of my outing today was getting shots with my 17-40 lens (from Canon). I took it to a forest that was badly damaged by a storm and had lots of logs and stumps that I thought might make for some nice ultra wide shots. I also have to say that I can very much relate to your squat moment. My squat muscles are very, very sore right now after going up and down today with my gear 😅
Sounds like the perfect way to start the day! I really enjoyed having the 17-28mm lens. It is definitely a lens I am considering adding to my bag. I just need to save a bit more money since I just upgraded my video camera. 😉📸
Any day with redbud and dogwood bloosoms, newly-emerging ferns, “baby” tree leaves, and fascinating fungi is a most excellent day! Well-done!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the video! Have a fantastic day! 😀📸
So glad to see you still out there taking photos and making videos, Acacia. Love the shot of the old shack.
