The main issue with the Redmi Note series nowadays is the software, not the MIUI itself but, for two years, they decided to release it at the end cycle of Android. 2 years of OS update for a mid range is good, but when you release it on Global with Android 13 when Android 14 is came out, it's kinda lame, to think that you only get 1 major OS update.

Agree. I don't understand this obsession either. Flat screens are better. Curved looks more "premium", but they are horrible to find a screen protector that goes to the edges. And the tricks to mimick curvature, with say black edges don't work with tiny screen bezzels. I simply have to have a screen protector, because my phones always end up with scratches from work.

Why it's problem when the phone gets hot, like 13T pro, that just means that the manufacturer made really good heat removal, the core is cooler and the body is warm. If the phone is cold, then all the heat stays inside. 13T pro did really good job, like Note 13 Pro +

I prefer in terms of design a curved, looks better, but I can understand why people prefer flat!
Yes just unreal still with the damn 2MP + 8MP crappy combo haha. Yeah flat I do prefer, one thing Apple gets right at least.
Can you change the screen protector?
nice bro u review back redmi model. i like it. did xiaomi give u review unit or u buy?
Xiaomi only gives UA-camrs global models bro and pays them.
@@seansmith6473Xiaomi pays for reviews? Nope, you are mistaking with Samsung
We need review of the Redmi Note 13 Pro (not plus), please!
with the battery result was that with 120hz enabled? 8 hrs of sot is really good
It was was the default setting which is up to 120hz.
@@Techtablets are you going to be reviewing the 13 pro variant ?
Oohh the design is very cooool
I do like the look of this one!
Curved screens are the reason why I'm still using my Huawei p20 pro
Amazing unboxing and hand on review as always 👍
In your opinion which phone is better, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ or Xiaomi 13T Pro?
I prefer the 13T Pro over this. It's a better phone.
Salute for this review. You are the people's champ hands down
Hi can you please review Redmi Note 13 Pro also?
Definitely prefer flat screen. Curved screens always bothered me even when they were all the rave.
Just amazed how beautiful the place that you live in 😮😊
A very interesting review, and I wonder whether you'll be doing a comparison with the Realme 11 Pro Plus. Styling apart, this one seems better value-for-money, but what is your verdict based on a side-by-side comparison of camera and gaming performance?
Once I've tried a curve screen, I can't go back to flat screen. It also makes for better back gesture of swiping left or right.
I've been on flat screen for 10 past years i do like to buy the RN13P+. Can you tell more about switching from flat to curved?
Hey have you got pixel 8, pro i love to see a video comparison with i phone 15 pro max cause u are the only reviewer i trust
Flat display with minimal bazels anytime
Try using an actual curved display, it feels so comfortable
How much dollars is the redmi note 13 pro? Not pro+ btw
They push the curved screens on the midrangers now to sell them,I use a curved one, looks good and and helps for left-right scroll
Curved looks premium on android phones
thanks, it's better or 12x? battery not important
12X is better I love that smaller phone.
Il sort quand en global ?
We know if it have vowifi?
Thank for showing this video sir, I was checking this phone on google to find out how good are these camera are 😂, and yeah, these phone are not too bad, and not to good, it’s 7.5/10 for me…😁
Yes!
Whats the app for battery wear?
Flat screens are better. Curved looks more "premium", but they are horrible to find a screen protector that goes to the edges. And the tricks to mimick curvature, with say black edges don't work with tiny screen bezzels.
I simply have to have a screen protector, because my phones always end up with scratches from work.
I really like what Xiaomi has done now with the new 14 Pro I just reviewed flat screen but very curved 2.5D style glass edge it looks and feels great in hand.
Yesterday I just bought this Phone.
Hi, i've been waiting dir your honor magic V2 fold review, i hope you'll still do it.
I would love to but the unit was sent back.
@@Techtablets oh wow, sorry to hear this. I honestly have been waiting for your review of it, so I can have a clear understanding of the overall user experience.
When will it be released to the global market?
When was relised in india
At 11:06 what app did you use to test the battery wear level?
Antutu
You forgot ip68 certification which will give it a boost in this price range and directly competition with moto neo edge 40
Good point!
Still 8MP ultrawide which is weird because even if small sensor 12MP was a norm for secondary sensor. How the heck did this comoa shot themselves with 8MP for so long 🙃
I do think it's because it's in their parts bin, they have huge stock levels of this sensor they need to use.
Why it's problem when the phone gets hot, like 13T pro, that just means that the manufacturer made really good heat removal, the core is cooler and the body is warm. If the phone is cold, then all the heat stays inside. 13T pro did really good job, like Note 13 Pro +
Hmm because it's uncomfortable to hold and game on a hot phone that's over 50 degrees C?
@@Techtablets agree 50 degrees is a lot, but it is what is, games are less and less optimized, hardver is faster and faster to catch games, it will become worse in the future.
Chris, a bit of a flashback you reviewing a xiaomi blower. Agreed, flat panels are the way to go, hopefully Samsung lead the way with this with the S24 Ultra. Mate wouldn't go near these xiaomi phones, to many bugs and ads come through with updates.
I hope the S24 Ultra is 100% flat the screen. And don't blame for not going near them! Thanks for watching.
Whats with the design? Why make it curved and all too
Is that ip 68 ?
Thank you for this Video
Redmi note 13 pro review with the following issues discussed pls:
Display pwm dimming
The use of Ufs 3.1 or 2.2
Software support
Snap870 or 778 comparison
Ty!
The frame is aluminium (just looked it up).
What because a website says that that often gets info wrong? Or was the source Xiaomi? Just asking as it feels like plastic other inner metal.
É confiável giztop?
Si
flat flat flat! 😅
i really more keen to by the non plus version .. any opinion? will you review it?
cheers Chris 👋
Pls just wanted to clear my doubt, I heard on the Chinese Rom some banking application or some app will not work in general
I live in Australia and banking apps and Gpay work fine on this phone.
Thanks for the review, i think the pro version makes more sense (s7gen2s)
Does this phone have a stylus pen?
Why they can't up their game on the secondary cameras?
Even my 4 years old LG phone has a triple 12mp camera setup with optical zoom
Cost cutting.
Can you do a review on the mid range version. The redmi note 13 pro
Thanks Chris, i always like to watch your honest review. You are right, for Xiaomi phone with China version, at lof of them not support our 5G bank outside China. In Malaysia, i get my Poco F5, which is global rom, was working fine with 5G here. But i didn't enjoy the price and storage option for Note 12 turbo that offer by by China version. I hope you will have a chance for Huawei Mate 60 review later, notice it wasn't launch global.😂
Tha ks for the comment. Not sure about the Mate 60 Pro if I'll get one.
@@Techtablets Thanks Chris, no need to be hurry, as I am not sure whether it will go Global for mate 60 series. Rumours is Huawei will launch nova 12 pro is November, which giving a choice for mid ranger.
I think they did say that the Mate 60 series wasn't going to be global this time. Yes next the Nova 12 series if they do launch that.
Sir, if possible please compare these cameras with poco x3 which had 64 MP sony sensor and 13 MP ultra wide to see whether the old phones had still great value iro camera over the current phones at same price point.
He's a phone reviewer not an archaeologist.
To me, it's more interesting the version pro (not plus) also because I hate the curved screen, but that version has an efficient Snapdragon soc...
If you have used the note12 pro plus you would not expect this one too much.
Yeah currently using one
Good Phone Thank you to Review Xiaomi Note 13 Pro Max .
Ihop Review Xiaomi Note 13 Pro Samall brother 🙋
How about redmi note 13 pro review??
Is it better to use the Chinese ROM or the Global ROM? I've been told that the Chinese ROM supports OTA but the Global doesn't!
Global supports OTA, if a seller or someone tells you did doesn't it's because they have flashed a Chinese version to global which broke OTA. The global version is coming so maybe wait for that.
@@Techtablets The seller told me it's because of the Unlocked Bootloader, that's why it doesn't support OTA.
Behold, the charger in the box😂🤣
pls compare it with RN13Pro
