I have the S23 ultra but want this phone just to prove that you don't need to pay extra for a great phone.

Recently I decided to buy Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G as a secundary phone and since then I sold my S23 Ultra! I don't see any difference to be honest despite the price and on top of that Redmi is charging at 65w VS 45w!
But the cameras must be MUCH worse though, that should be the only noticeable thing. @@Gabix87
It all boils down to software support... redmi tends to abandon their handsets way too soon than samsung

I bought one 2 weeks ago for $350 and I'm very happy with it except there's no 3.5mm headphone jack, so I bought ear phones with a type C plug to fit directly into the phone. Thanks for the review 😙
How's the battery.?
@@leahodrada4830 Battery is like a normal battery -- it's not discharging fast. The 120W battery charges really fast -- about 20mins for a full charge so I only need to charge for 10mins max.

mine too, some bugs on software, but in games, its hardcore. although need to change to a new phone soon, I need better chipset but I will still use my redmi note 9s

The only problem is the need for a higher nit count when outside. Had a LG before that now that was a headache.

I bought the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ over 4 months ago for $339. From Giztop to replace my Poco X3 GT had it for over 2 years. Great Phone no problems with it. Can't get rid of the Chinese Apps, Chinese Version from Giztop. My mistake. I bought the Poco X6 Pro 12gig-512gig 2-29-23 for $386. From Amazon 1 day delivery. I live in Chicago USA. No problems with 5g. Poco X6 Pro same as the Redmi K70E, but cheaper. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ updated 2 days ago to HyperOS.
How is the connectivity with the redmi note 13 pro+ in Chicago? I live there too
I think we have reached the pinnacle of midrange smartphones with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. 120Hz AMOLED display, 200MP main camera with OIS, 120W wired charging, IP68 rating, and a decently fast chipset. Don't know what more could you ask for at this price range 🤷

In the case of this phone, I wish Xiaomi would've given it a 7 gen 2 or some other dimensity that doesn't feel like Exynos.

Better internals since the mother boards are known to fail on Xiaomi phones as well as better software since MiUI/HyperOS lags like crazy on their budget smartphones and has a lot of bloat ware.
@@rrsharizamhmmm, my K20 Pro is now on it's 5th year with no issue, the only servicing it needed was a battery swap.
I love the design of this phone, I had Xiaomi 12 and i was very satisfied with the curved screen too.

Good review as always. No SD card & shipping out with Android 13 is a real bummer. Other than that it's a gorgeous looking phone. For the love of all things pure and wholesome during your speaker tests consider switching up the song please that shit is really boring and a pain to listen to ..
They gotta use the same song for every phone and they've used it for a long time. So if they do change it. They gotta play that song on every phone that they have reviewed.

The resolution of the phone is unnecessary high at 446 pixel density when 350 would be the best noticeable in a 6-7 inch phone.
That's overkill and also takes a toll on the battery .
How about making a video on how to reduce the resolution from Quad to FHD to see how it helps power and battery?

I think the details in video and in your website are actually good. But then i feel that the standard review template has to be changed otherwise it might look boring at some point of time. Also as a long time viewer of your channel, more efforts has to be put in camera review. Reviewing stationary tripod videos are of no use for an end customer instead various scenary,HDR situations and stabilization performance have to be reviewed. Camera section review is the weaker part in your videos
How about, you go to another channel that provides in-depth camera review? This channel already covered all of the features available on the phone and you ask for more? Mind if I'm asking, do you even donate to this channel for all of the reviews they've done?
Agree with the camera test. A simple walk while recording video will suffice.

2MP macro is useless, the phone will have more value without it, also the 200MP is too much, the SOC won't use that pixel density to its full potential(pixel binning is the absolute proof of it, it doesn't resample from 200P, its just throws away pixels, just a waste), 100P + a way better wide angle, and a better selfie camera, would have been a way better product, a more expensive one, that have a telephoto lens would be terrific, i guess it's the 13T but that phone has a terrible selfie camera too.

I guess the battery results are due to 2k hz touch sampling rate, which is not mentioned in this video

Ahh yes, another phone with a high megapixel main camera and a low-ass 8mp ultrawide and a useless 2mp macro that almost nobody uses 🤦♂️
The phone overheats, batery drains extremely fast with 120hrz, and it cannot simply run normaly an HDR10+ video here on youtube that says 4k60HDR, i tried changint the device to 60fps, went back to youtube and it just wont let me comfortably see a 4k 60fps HDR video. Such a let down, on top of how buggy the HyperOs is.

I'm going to present this phone to my wife as a gift, huh😒😔😞😏 I think for a girl who hardly plays games, who is into social media, mostly Facebook and Instagram, who uses her phone only for social media, taking selfies and photos etc, it's good enough. The IP68 water proof is a bonus, along the the 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and the 256 GB UFS 3.1 Internal Storage
The connection speed is less than half as fast as an s23.

I love Xiaomi as a brand for a several years now. But I hate the fact that Xiaomi does not let me install my favorite Launcher with full screen gestures. If Xiaomi does not change this I wont be buying a Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco again probably.
Yes, I hate that too. I use Edge Gestures by ChYK as a workaround. It's a good app. Only thing is you can't hide the nav bar.
That's why I stopped using them a couple of years ago. I would only consider a Xiaomi if they change their minds and fully support 3rd party launchers

To many problems with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Chinese Version. I sold it on eBay. My Poco X6 Pro is a Flagship Killer for the Money 💰. No problems with 5g or anything else.

The s21 Fe is overrated. Not a fan of its battery. Google more on other phones with the same budget you'll find many. A filter search will help more 😊

It says something when the latest midrange smart phone doesn't come with the latest android version and xiaoms new hyper os so Xiaomi don't have to give you android 17 just 16 I bet the nothing phone 2A will come with android 14 and get 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security patches and it might be cheaper so I'm going to wait for the nothing phone 2A one a side note not being able to use 3rd party launchers and having to use on screen buttons because xiaomi don't let you use gestures is a bloody joke

in terms of gaming, I will go for IQ00 NEO 9 or NEO 9 PRO, although its camera sucks, but its much more stable, just don't buy the red with leather back for it heats a lot. so far my black one don't heat that much when in ultra

Tbh the 13T out performs it on benchmarks quite considerablyand has a better screen, but loses out to it in a few areas, cameras, charging speed 66w v 120w and native storage options. 13t is 256gb you can get a 512gb version of the pro+

The battery uptime is a bit worrying..knowing the model, it will go lower n lower, when u already use it for 2-3 years..
