everything about dubai is a facade. thats literally the foundations of a place rapidly built on a desert with little natural resources. Its biggest success is how it shows what humans can do if they have the will & the motivation. Its almost like a mini appetizer for what we could do on Mars. Though creating a water source from nothing there is problem number 1. without that its a non starter. But more realistically its an example of what Africa couldve been if it wasnt so corrupt & badly ran. The powers that be have kept their people impoverished cause the trillions in AID they receive is easy for them to steal & misuse. It will stay forever third world. Make people dependant on welfare is the worst thing you can do for motivation.
