She was not playing the victim. She was setting Peyton straight. Until this moment, all their digs at each other's lives were based on truth. Also, people tried to stop her so she ignored them. Peyton knew she had gone too far in the end, that's why she apologised to Lindsay. Lindsay was kind and classy enough to accept the apology, so defending Peyton's actions doesn't make sense.
You guys need to stop defending Peyton. She always hated on Lindsey because of pure jealousy. Lindsey was initially very nice to Peyton. Lindsey only reacted when she heard Peyton say that she doesn’t like her. I know if someone told me that they don’t like me then I would have some level of resentment toward them. Not really her heart was literally breaking in two she couldn’t help but be a bitch not saying it was right. In all the episodes leading up to this one you could tell she was trying her hardest to be nice but her emotions would get the best of her and it finally exploded in this episode ..honestly it’s very realistic writing
