We Went to the French Riviera (24 Hours in Nice, France)

- After visiting Paris so many years ago we just knew that we wanted to return to France, and what better than heading to the French Riviera by spending a couple of days in Nice.
After finding one of the only cafe's open before 10am (which was perfectly placed right on the beach) we decided to head out and explore more the beautiful town.
Spots we saw
- Vieille Ville (Old Town)
- Promenade des Anglais
- Parc de la Colline du Château (Castle Hill Park)
- Jardin Albert I Statue
but after doing waay to much walking we decided to upgrade our transportation by hiring a top back blue convertible. We drove up to Le Fort du Mont Alban to get amazing views of the city.
After all this driving and walking we had worked up an appetite, so we tried some Nice street food in the form of Socca before grabbing an ice cream and catching the train over to Cannes for the Cannes film festival.

Last time I was in Nice (March of last year), the "Invisible Man" was there too. I assume your brand new country for tomorrow is Monaco. I'm sure you liked that. Beyond that on the train is Menton, which is quite nice. The next stop is in Italy (Ventimiglia). That place is kind of like a flea market/swap meet where you can buy some cheap stuff to bring back to Nice. Good video.
Ya Monaco is luxurious and have lot of casino to look for

I went to Nice as a teenager and I swear I don't remember anything but the fact that I ate ice cream in the old town 🤷🏻♀️

@@PassporttotheBlue he's really friendly and quite down to earth. But above all he's massive. I thought I was big but compared to him I felt tiny. It was surreal and the first time I've ever been starstruck
I did it, I ran up the credit card, I had to go back to work, I have very little in material things, no home, no car at 60. But, I have a lot of great memories and when I show young people my travel photos, they are in awe. The best part is being able to speak to other people that have traveled and talking about our travels.

On the way up to Fort du Mont Alban ( 4:15) you passed Elton John´s villa on the left. Its only 500 meters away from the castle.
3:50 Villefranche-sur-Mer. Super nice place.
The bits of video with Jess as the driver of the little blue shark car (which is a jingle from Nickelodeon Jr. "Team Umizoomi") make me bust out laughing. She makes that funny contraption look so stylish. I want there to be a ha ha button for the video, but a "like" will have to do. What fun!

There is a beautiful waterfall atop of castle hill. I stood on the edge to take a photo and fell in. It’s a very deep fountain. I got fully submerged and all I heard was squish, squish, squish all the way back to the Airbnb.
