    I run around 130 club head and currently use a 8 degree tsr3 std lenght 70g x flex shaft. I was curious when I heard what Bryson said about these drivers. Im currently playing amateur/collegiate golf competitively not looking into long drive etc. Would you still recommend trying this driver in 2024?

      I used to compete in LD from 2005-2008 (max head speed was 134mph) when Krank was just coming on the scene. I was with SMT at the time, but when I got out of LD I came across a Krank F5 (Element) and that club stayed in my bag for a long time until the face finally cracked. Some UA-camr did a comparison between Krank and some other big names, and while the ball speeds were all very close, what impressed him the most was the accuracy and ball speed in off center hits, which mirrored what I experienced with my F5. It was on a Motore shaft, and I picked it up for something stupid like $100 in a 2nd hand shop. I have only 1 video on this channel and it is of me hitting it with about a 110mph head speed when I first came to Japan. I can imagine that this new Fire driver is equally as long and as accurate. The COR on all drivers must conform, so you won't see any real difference in ball speed between different manufacturers. But for real golf, you will need accuracy in off-center hits, and I'd bet the house that this latest driver is accurate too.

    Question, I picked up a House of Forged Shaft, and I'm wondering what changes in your swing to be able crank it around? It's more flexible than my gaming shaft. I'm here in UT as well.

      Depending on the CPM and if your swing mechanics are decent enough I'd say let your hands set at the top and be more patient. Let the whip of the shaft do the work. Think Cam Young/Hidecki swing pause then fire your hips at the top.

      Best bet would be to hit up Dillon at Sweet Heat though. Tell him you saw my content he'll sort you out 👍

    I know this video is a few months old but have you compared this to an AI Smoke or Paradym Triple Diamond? Im a lefty that carries a 188-193 course ball speed that has topped out at 207 on the sim... ive got a rogue st max triple diamond LS which I love but i want a backup head incase it finally breaks on me. Deciding between a new callaway head (since my current ventus black shaft adapter) or just picking up the Fire Pro head.

      Unfortunately Krank went from a really great head in 2023 to now useless. Every LH hand they've built is now closed to the point it's unhittable. I had 8 drivers from them and all were defective. If you're cruising 190s you'll break a Paradym, AI smoke, Qi10 or Stealth in under 500 shots. Titleist is durable, as well as the Ping G430. Or find an 8-10 year old head and put a new shaft in like the BGT Brava.

      Short answer: hit 50 balls 2-3 times a week at max intensity with no intent of direction. Longer answer in the video below 👍

    Ive been interested in this driver for awhile, is it mainly for long drivers or would it be a good driver for amateur golfers too? Does it have a loft/lie adjust sleeve on it?

    • @mikelowegolf
      @mikelowegolf  8 місяців тому +1

      Yeah their adjusters go up 2° or down 1°. So you can get anywhere from 3-8° depending what head you get. Lie is adjusted separately. Check out my unboxing video if you'd like! They make non LD heads also. Depends on your ball speed/launch angle and some other factors what'd be best for you.

    God you hit the piss out of it. 😅 Likely going to grab one with the deal they got going. Would you say its easier to hit than other stuff you have used? I will likely get one in 9 or 10.5 as I deloft quite alot when hitting; just worried because Bryson and others I have seen say its not necessarily forgiving. This will be my first entry into long driving. Great video!

    • @mikelowegolf
      @mikelowegolf  8 місяців тому +1

      I personally find it more forgiving than the Paradym TD and the TSR4. How do you know you 'deloft' it? Have you been on a monitor to see your AOA and launch angle? You'll want to match up your speed and launch to the loft of the club.

    • @mikelowegolf
      @mikelowegolf  8 місяців тому +1

      @@BFisherMKE gotcha. Launch angle and static loft have some similarities but do not directly correlate to eachother. With that same loft driver you could hit it high on the face resulting in 16°+ launch, or hit it low on the face at a 6°. All just depends what plane your driver is on at impact!

    Here’s why no one buying it: if you hit your driver over 115MPH, then the Krank PRO version is perfect, but for us mere mortals (99% of golfers out there), this driver will not work for us. You are then left ONLY with a choice of the other 2 Krank models (the X and the XX), which are NON-CONFORMING, so can’t use them even in local club tournaments and at least in my foursome, no one going to let me win money matches with an illegal driver!
    So that’s the real reason…not going to work for 99% of golfers out there.

  • @legend9018

    I did recently hit the latest formula xx driver (200-260 yard version) non conforming club and I was vastly underwhelmed. First the sound is absolutely awful imo. Extremely high pitched and tingy and it just sounds very cheap. That would be fine if it performed as promised. I put it against my stealth 2 plus and not once did it manage to out drive the Taylormade and to make matters worse it’s dispersion was way worse as well. I really hoped this driver was going to live up to its billing and I really gave it my best effort but to no avail. Save your money, don’t believe the hype. I should’ve known this was a scam because the moment you try and post an independent review you cannot find anywhere to do so. Their customer service post sale is non existent but overwhelmingly present when you are browsing. There is no posted guarantee, warranty or return policy on their website. A complete scam.

    • @mikelowegolf
      @mikelowegolf  7 місяців тому +2

      I cannot speak to the non conforming clubs because I hit the 4° LD head. This Krank head is by far the most forgiving driver head I've hit. It isn't the fastest but that is because it's extremely durable. What monitor were you hitting on to conduct your test vs the TaylorMade? My reviews are unbiased as I pay for everything in my bag out of my own pocket.

      @@mikelowegolf i hit both drivers on a gc quad monitor and took them both out on the course. The Krank was just worse in every single performance metric both indoors and out. Extremely high spinning even with the loft turned down.

      @@legend9018 What is your swing speed and what is the swing speed requirement of the club. I know their site literally tells you that you will get diminishing returns if you are outside the correct swing speed window.

    • @legend9018
      @legend9018 6 місяців тому

      @@cobra7282 I fell almost square in the middle of their yardage recommendations and I still have had absolutely no luck with this driver. It’s really quite poor especially in terms of forgiveness. I think I would deal with that aspect if the club actually delivered on the yardage gains promised but it’s really just a very below average driver in every aspect (distance, accuracy, sound, feel, etc). Save your money, I know golf clubs inside and out and this one is a stinker. They won’t even let me post a review on the website even though I bought the driver directly from them. That is a huge red flag and I would bet my life savings that almost all of their reviews are bogus.
