@@yourbestgolf365 It is PGA legal, which means it has the same COR as every other PGA legal driver. This means you won't gain any noticeable distance compared with any other PGA legal driver on center hits. Off center hits? Maybe so. I've seen a bit of debatable evidence that suggests it is longer and more forgiving than almost all other drivers in off center hits, which is where us amateurs really need help some help. I used the F5 for a few years before the face finally cracked (I've cracked 8 different drivers so far) but I am sure the Krank Fire is just fine for any golfer, not just LDers ;)

The really nice thing about crank is they are willing to sell any club to any person. As a decent amateur long driver (216 ballspeed pr) nothing is worse than cobra pretending to be serious about long drive but then not selling a long drive club to those of us that have done the work and need a low loft driver. Your options are finding a Callaway long drive head (they make them but don’t sell them officially, you need to find a custom shop), buying a crank, or finding something weird like a brute. And for reference someone like me using a regular 9° driver off the shelf with a stock X-flex shaft is like a regular scratch golfer trying to use a senior women’s driver. You’ll be able to play but with super high spin and it’ll be hard to pin down a fairway.

I've heard of Krank. The issue in my opinion with Krank or any of the other current long drive heads is the look like and the names sound like Tonka Toys. They do not appear to be something a conservative game would be interested in playing.
I was involved in Long Drive 20 some years ago. The brands then were Integra or Bang heads. They just didn't last. The face would fail fairly quickly. The trampoline effect back then wasn't regulated yet, so it was all about distance. The affects of spin and launch ideal AOA and all the other details weren't yet known. It was all about swing speed and distance, the correlation between ball speed and swing creating distance wasn't known yet. All of that data was built on what we did then.

I'm on my 3rd Krank driver. Love 'em. It could use a face lift and a better designed cover but this thing is a great club. That's why I'm on my 3rd one. I get the new design each promotion.

Here’s why no one buying it: if you hit your driver over 115MPH, then the Krank PRO version is perfect, but for us mere mortals (99% of golfers out there), this driver will not work for us. You are then left ONLY with a choice of the other 2 Krank models (the X and the XX), which are NON-CONFORMING, so can’t use them even in local club tournaments and at least in my foursome, no one going to let me win money matches with an illegal driver!
So that’s the real reason…not going to work for 99% of golfers out there.

Bryson has proven,..Its not the arrow,..it's all about the INDIAN.
His swing has always been different, he looks at every shot using physics. His work with LONG-DRIVE champ Borgmeier, and his interest in club construction for power and length, that KRANK driver he is using makes TOTAL SENSE, based on his swing speed.

Isn’t it all about marketing? I’ve barely heard about Krank. He plays the same length shafts and huge grips (that’s what she said). That means I’d have to get fitted for new clubs and if i don’t like it, it’d be hard to sell.

I used the middle head with the first edition of these swing speed matched heads (Formula 11 XX). My swing speed is 98-100. !2 yards longer on average I would guess. On occasion 30 + or even a ridiculous one that are of course outliers. Cracked my first one on the side. They wouldn't replace. Found a used one. Totally illegal. I love it.

I purchased 2 clubs from Crank. They are dishonest. I spent over 1k on them and both heads cracked. The person over the phone admitted that it was their issue they were dealing with issues with the heads and they way they were fired . They would not replace them at all! I had worst experience ever, dishonest and unbelievable BS. 125-135 swing speed should not have damaged the face detaching from the body. They were less than 7 months old and said I need to purchase new ones and if I wanted to reuse the shafts that there would be an up charge.

The difference with krank is they have more bulge and roll and the USGA compliant driver is harder than oem drivers. Forgiveness is maximized.
I used to compete in longdrive and drivers flatten fast. Krank holds that bulge and roll forever.

Use to play with a guy with who was competing in long drive comp while I was pursuing playing. I use to want one….. People know about them. But obviously you aren’t in the know. Krank has had a cult following. Ping made 1 or 2 sets of these clubs for him and said it’s a one time thing as of i last heard. The 230s aren’t a hollow head.

One advantage LIV golfers have; since they get big contracts to play on the tour, they don't need the money from club sponsorship. I looked at the latest Krank golf drivers; they are interesting and they cost far less than the big name companies... but still not cheap. They sell non-conforming drivers, so there's a smaller market, though honestly, there's no real reason for us weekend warriors to stick to conforming clubs.
