Great review. Really helpful. I'm prepping some videos for my own reviews using it in different settings and you showed me some stuff I wasn't aware of! Thanks!
Yes it will work with anything with a microphone input. So just add either stream mix or virtual mix to camtasia. If you have a camera setup as well I normally do a clap before recording so I can get the audio and video synced correctly.
@@thefullsetup THANKS FOR THE REPLY. But I have to WAIT long for this mic to come to my country Indonesia. Even Rode Ai-Micro which has been release november last year has not arrived yet in my country. Keep up the good work my friend. BTW, i do not normally use camera for my video , I just use my webcam to record my video CHEERS
Thanks for the video, I came across it looking to compare the VMNTG and this one. I already have the VMNTG and was hoping you can help me with a problem I seem to have. In Teams, Zoom etc I use the VMNTG as mic and as output with some earphones plugged into the VMNTG. I can’t seem to get a good balance in volume between my voice and people in the meeting. If I use the volume knob on the back to bring up the volume of people in the meeting then when I talk my voice is far too loud (painfully). If I reduce the volume of me talking to an acceptable level then people in the meeting are too quiet. Am I missing something really obvious here? Thanks for any help and love your videos.
What mic arm are you using? Trying to find one for this mic since it’s a pretty lightweight mic that might be lighter than most mic arms minimum weight capacity.
No at the moment it’s just rode mics, so videomic ntg, go II, nt mini usb, wireless go II. If you wanted to connect an audio interface you could buy the ai micro which also connects to rose connect you could then take a cable from your audio interface e into the ai micro it’s a bit of Jannie way though. I’d really like to se rode add a xlr audio interface with support for connect.

Exellent video, thank you so much! Might be an obvious answer, but are you connecting the Rode Videomic Go II via usb to your computer? Thanks:)
Yes by usb

Hey there my rode videomic go 2 connects to the rode central app but doesn’t show or connect app at all..any help ?

It’s a neewer one but more styled like the rode arms rather than the cheap $15 dollar special.
Can you connect any mic to the Rode Connect software?

How would I run 3 different microphones all thru 1 camera?
Does it work with Videomic Go ?
SO I DID YOU CONNECT YOUR GO TO PC??
