That gen of CR's was honestly the best looking motocross bike ever made. Simple yet dynamic without trying too hard. When I think of dirt biking, I see those bikes in my head. Awesome video, excellent tribute!
I have to admit that punk rock has remained my favorite kind of rock music throughout my life, for better or worse. And I bought my first two stroke last year, and love it. Funny how things generally related to a certain era come together inadvertently. It did for me, at least.
I rode the 97 CR from late 97 until 2011 when I crushed my heel. One of the best motors of all time. Granted I didn't ride nearly as much the last few years as I did from 97-04 but that bike lasted 14 years with one top end rebuild. When I sold it, it started on the second kick in 2013.
@@OTAlucard 96 here. absolutely love it. although the case is cracked right now and im about to asses the situation this weekend. i hope to god i can fix it. i'd take my 96 over a newer one any day
Was thee parts guy at a local Honda shop up here in lovely Erie,Pa at the time of the original ...that just added to the magic of the era!!! And gotta say this versions got the adrenalin goin strong!! Thanks Ken and the crew!
The bike in this video that roczen rides is actually mcgraths race bike that he leaves in his house on display. McGrath let them use it as he mentioned in the swap moto interview from last year. It’s a 93 frame and 96 motor
This is so incredibly awesome that I'm having a hard time putting it into words. Ken, you are one talented rider. You look like you're loving that two-stroke.
My brother sold his '96 250cr years ago and still regrets it, I don't want to have that feeling. That's why I still have my '93 . I'm keeping it in mint condition ! Cheers.
Ive never been so exited for a new moto video! 😂This was one of my favorite segments from terriferma and they kept the song, and replicated a lot of the shots this makes me so happy! So sick, best redbull video ever
This is my childhood all wrapped up into a video that showcases my favorite rider reinacting the moves of my favorite rider in history. Still recall the birthday I got the Terrafirma!
Anyone else not able to wipe the stupid smile off their face while watching this? 90's moto movies were just so much better than the stuff put out these days, and this was a great tribute to the hay day off moto. Ken is the closest thing to the riders of that time right now. He has the style, speed, confidence with some cockiness, and loves ripping his bike in the hills just as much as racing. Respect!
Watch..send it..crash..heal...repeat....16 yrs old in 96....honda and McGrath are a part of me...my 94 125 was built just like his and the best times were had..damn
This is awesome thanks for making it. No one can ride like Jeremy though, Not even Roczen. Jeremy looks so fast and smooth in the origional in will never be matched, I hope you kids these days remember just how good "The King" really was.
It's "Disconnected" by Face To Face, off the album "Big Choice". Though this isn't the original version of the song. The original can be found on their album "Don't Turn Away". If anyone remembers the original Terrafirma 2 video, it had one of the BEST soundtracks for any MX video. I was 15 when that VHS came out and played it until the VCR broke. In order to get the adrenaline going, my Walkman was blasting Face to Face, NOFX, GWAR, Pennywise, Misfits, No Use For A Name. Now I'm 37 and those 20+ year old songs STILL get me pumped to go riding. 2 STROKE FOR LIFE!!!!!!
By far the best sound track to any Mx video. Crusty 1, and disturbing the peace were close seconds . This version of Disconnected was by far the best. The Sprung Monkey Tunes from their album Situation Life are top notch as well
wow brings back so many great memories! awesome music! WELL DONE!!! As others have said, ROCZEN you NEED to rock this bike & gear if you lock up the championship early!!!
2Wheelin Dillon I was thinking the same thing. Similar (opposite) to when Bubba raced a 250F in the final moto of the 2004 125 nationals at Glen Helen and smoked the field.
bike is over 5 years old and doesn't meet the AMA homologation rules. lame, right? Roczen tried same thing with an RM250 last year and it wasn't allowed.
For a guy coming into middle age who had MC as his hero as a kid and who wore his Terrafirma VHS tape out, this brings a tear to they eye. Out-effin-standing K-Rock.
This is wild.. this was my pump up as a kid on Raceday.. this song, this section of Terrafirma. So dope, so many good memories flooded back from this clip 😃😃😃😃
Awesome Tribute to the King of Supercross. Not many people in this world actually worthy of throwing a leg over MC's bike, but Roczen definitely does is justice.
haydn mortimer frig yah. I hate when they play that stupid rap shit, punk and metal is what motocross vids started with. You don't see Crusty Demon or the Metal Mulisha or the MotoXXX old school having fuckin rap music. Salute to you my friend.
great tribute to my favorite rider and favorite movie. Watching McGrath blast the whoop section on the MX track in Millville, MN in person is permanently ingrained in my brain lol... i couldnt believe what i was seeing... tv just doesn't do it justice.
Great job remaking the original clip. I could even smell that ice cold ELF and HP blend in my memories. Pre-mix reed valves and carburetors will make motocross great again
That was great!! I have the original VHS tape, I was 27 & riding a YZ 250 with all Fox gear & McGrath replica helmet! Watched that tape a thousand times!!
vinnie ortega Lmaof they need dumbasses with metal spikes and nazi helmets riding doing illegal drugs in the parking lot doing the same repetitive jumps or they dont think its cool enough. .... bring christianvaluesback.com........
That gen of CR's was honestly the best looking motocross bike ever made. Simple yet dynamic without trying too hard. When I think of dirt biking, I see those bikes in my head. Awesome video, excellent tribute!
100% accurate
Punk rock, two strokes sound, racing gear... everything was fucking cool in the 90s, why did have to change? Thanks for this little piece of art.
I have to admit that punk rock has remained my favorite kind of rock music throughout my life, for better or worse. And I bought my first two stroke last year, and love it. Funny how things generally related to a certain era come together inadvertently. It did for me, at least.
meh I moved on to electronic. all the old punk rockers became liberal pussies
I still ride a smoker. Convert back. Youll get better
@@4touchdowns1game29 you must have a “touch of the down” sorry to hear that buddy
the gear in the 90's was really cool
I got chills watching this. Grew up on this scene.
That is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Excellent job of remaking the original. Was hard to tell Kenny from McGrath. Awesome.
K-Roc, thank you so much for inviting us into your world! With speed, style and humor, nice place!
I'm riding a '97 250 and I'm always happy to see pro riders ripping oldschool bikes
Ronnie mac loves his first gen alum frame. I need to upgrade the front suspension on mine !
@@OTAlucard 96 here. absolutely love it. although the case is cracked right now and im about to asses the situation this weekend. i hope to god i can fix it. i'd take my 96 over a newer one any day

Great Tribute to the King! Amazing detail & choreography! Magical era in the sport. It was a 95 CR 250 that Jeremy rode in the original.
The bike in this video that roczen rides is actually mcgraths race bike that he leaves in his house on display. McGrath let them use it as he mentioned in the swap moto interview from last year. It’s a 93 frame and 96 motor
What a great callback to a simpler time for MX and the world. Great job
I love the old school theme. when i was little i grew up on old motocross movies.
I watched Crusty #1 2-3 times a WEEK on vhs!!
This is my Era of motocross..I miss it
Those are Epic. If I remember correctly. MC had some small cameos in Crusty 2.
Mine too. Had a new 95 CR when Terrafirma 2 came out & it was killer despite the fork recall. Heartbreaking to think 22 years slipped by so fast...
That’s the greatest thing of seen since the original!!! Kenny you the man!!! McGrath your still a hero!!
This is so incredibly awesome that I'm having a hard time putting it into words. Ken, you are one talented rider. You look like you're loving that two-stroke.
This brings back memory’s big time 90 motocross was the best.
Face to Face is awesome...90´s punkrock is awesome
That 90s vibe with punk rock music fucking awsome. 👍👍
I grew up on the terrafirma movies I can't explain to you how happy it makes me to see this video great job Ken Roczen
Man I burned out that Terrafirma 2 tape I had... This really brings it all back.
Yep, same here.
Cool job for making this happen. infinitely better than any video Monster puts out.
Have you seen doonies 3? Pretty bad ass
MIM94 yeah i think a bit out there. Dont yah think?
MIM94 I know Doonies 3 was terrible
MIM94 Agreed! Brraapp!!
Way better than the Doonies 3! Love this video.
HighSidedFilms Damn, You got that right!!!
I wholeheartedly agree!
HighSidedFilms gawd dayum!
Best video in ages ....loving the classic two stroke CR ........should never have sold my '93 .
I wish I still had my 96
My brother sold his '96 250cr years ago and still regrets it, I don't want to have that feeling.
That's why I still have my '93 . I'm keeping it in mint condition ! Cheers.
Sickest video ever !! Thanks for bringing us all back to that ERA !! SICK
!!!!!!!
MC is a legend I loved watch him when I was a teenager and I see I still have this on VHS and you nailed it.
Bravo guys, that was an awesome trip down memory lane! McGrath will always be a hero of mine! Kenny is well on his way!
So many memories that this brings back......thanks Ken and Red Bull.......well done.......love it!!
This is the coolest thing I've seen in years!!
The best 2 stroke vid on the internet! Took me back to my youth for 4 + minutes, So sick!!!
Rockin' Roczen! Love the tribute, love the incredible skill, love the photography, love the ranch!
Ive never been so exited for a new moto video! 😂This was one of my favorite segments from terriferma and they kept the song, and replicated a lot of the shots this makes me so happy! So sick, best redbull video ever
Man this video brings back ALL of the nostalgic feelings from the original McGrath one on Terrafirma 2
This is my childhood all wrapped up into a video that showcases my favorite rider reinacting the moves of my favorite rider in history. Still recall the birthday I got the Terrafirma!
I Love it. 90's motocross was another thing.
DrGasosa Yup, they're missing the strippers and coke...
where the men were men and the bikes were junk.
I love 2 strokes and I love 90s motocross bikes and gear. So, for me 2 strokes and the 90s can never die.
aixonoterre
Nn
This will become Red Bull's highest viewed video.
Justin M it will do the amount of times I'm about to watch it ahahaha
Best video I have ever seen... McGrath tribute done to PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!! The best MX video in decades

So good! One of the best moto segments of all time. Kenny nailed it! Even his style was similar to McGrath. Awesome stuff!
wow brings back so many great memories! awesome music! WELL DONE!!! As others have said, ROCZEN you NEED to rock this bike & gear if you lock up the championship early!!!
love it brother take it back to when times were amazing
This gave me goosebumps
If Roczen locks up the championship before the last round he should run this set up. Like if you agree
Roczen tried same thing with an RM250 last year and it wasn't allowed.
tythomps yeah dude fuck ama for that rule
somehow I don't think that's gonna happen now lol
Obviously it can't happen now but even running the gear and an old school sticker kit would be rad.
This is so killer. Great job Wes Williams and Red Bull.
OMG... this is So perfect. What an awesome tribute. Thank Ken Rocksen:-) and Jermey Mcgrath. Legends.
Badass! We need more two stroke videos.
greatest thing i've seen on UA-cam
So rad! they nailed it! Roczen gets major props for sure
This is amazing haha, I watched the original everyday before school. Too cool to see this
For a guy coming into middle age who had MC as his hero as a kid and who wore his Terrafirma VHS tape out, this brings a tear to they eye. Out-effin-standing K-Rock.

The sickest ride riding a legends bike this is so awesome!!!
Great job Ken it's like I'm watching the clip all over again.
Searched top viewed terrafirma vid on yt. Did not disappoint
Mamma che ricordi, tutto inizio con terrafirma 2 la mia passione per le 2 ruote
Brilliant video, miss the sound of the 2 stroker soooooo much.
That makes the hair stand up. Epic clips new and old. Thanks Kenny!
Thing sounds so amazing. Best era of motocross
Best thing to come out of motocross in the last 22 years.
I love how you guys used the same song as the original. I used to watch that movie all the time when I was a kid.
that's was sweet how they made the video look old and very similar to orignal
Randy Reynolds Different effects in post-production.
I don't know about everyone else but this video hits the heart.
Ahh, the memories.....well done!!
Awesome Tribute to the King of Supercross. Not many people in this world actually worthy of throwing a leg over MC's bike, but Roczen definitely does is justice.
celebrating a guy you don't sponsor or doesn't work for you anymore...mad respect!!!
Good music no fake gangster rap shit for once
They used one of the original songs from Terrafirma 2 to replicate Jeremy McGrath's Castillo Ranch part. Brings back so many good memories. #Nostalgia
haydn mortimer it's face to face
haydn mortimer ... Nothing wrong with G Rap it's just another genre of music different to your liking.
Lu Uikilifi no it's just not made for motocross, this music is just freaking awesome combined with motocross 😍😍
haydn mortimer frig yah. I hate when they play that stupid rap shit, punk and metal is what motocross vids started with. You don't see Crusty Demon or the Metal Mulisha or the MotoXXX old school having fuckin rap music. Salute to you my friend.
These kids must not know.. Every clip is identical to the movie.
Actually it's not even close. Go watch the original again. Doesn't detract from how good this is though.
itsCONTROVERSY even the little nose wheelie
Pablo Coronel mcgrath class replaced with german precision... fair trade off
great tribute to my favorite rider and favorite movie. Watching McGrath blast the whoop section on the MX track in Millville, MN in person is permanently ingrained in my brain lol... i couldnt believe what i was seeing... tv just doesn't do it justice.

I have the ORGINIAL TERRAFIRMA 2 on VHS and I give MAD respect to Ken Roczen for respecting the KING of SUPERCROSS Jeremy "Showtime" McGrath!
Ken Roczen that’s one of my all time favorite CR 250’s! You rip.😎🏁❤️🇺🇸
Roczen and twostroke are my two favourites of the sport coming together! 😍
I like how the video was edited with the effects to make it look like a vhs playing, and I like how they had the sound of the bike in there.
Amazing how good the direction was in the original Terrafirma. The editing here is like someone having a stroke
Keep it up Red Bull, this is quality stuff you're doing here!👍👍👍
so badass! I watched these as a kid
I getting old man , all I can say is , WoW!!
2023 and Kenny you did the King right! Wore my Terrafirma 2 vhs tape out watching this segment of the King.
Just got a massive slap in the face by nostalgia
Great job remaking the original clip. I could even smell that ice cold ELF and HP blend in my memories. Pre-mix reed valves and carburetors will make motocross great again
90s style is so good!!! I hate this pop rap crap and the style of today's kids.
I'm a 90's kid.
Dylan Walker for real I hate my generation sometimes
Ok Boomer
there's a reason that terrafirma 2 was so good. so good they remade parts of it!
The CR's of the '90s are without any doubt the best looking dirtbike ever!
My all time favorite CR 250!!
That was great!! I have the original VHS tape, I was 27 & riding a YZ 250 with all Fox gear & McGrath replica helmet! Watched that tape a thousand times!!
90s MX is the best. Terrafirma is right up there with On Any Sunday
That was my fav MC helmet nice to see a new one!!
2 thumbs up Wes Williams!! Off to watch all the 90s moto movies now!
Just grabbed a 94 CR250 last night and had to come watch this.
Kenny just crushed it. wished I could of heard more bike though
Check out redbull.com/terrafirma94 for some more clips :)
Raw sound and go pro. www.vitalmx.com/videos/member/Onboard-Ken-Roczen-Terrafirma94,14928/GD2,43126
Terrafirma 2 was my childhood. I must have watched it on VHS at least a 150 times. That and Steel Roots.
Class acts....both of them Roczen and MC!!!!
This is now my favorite video
the 10 dislikes ride quads
I ride both- don't hate. I'm betting it's Suzuki fan boy's.
Naw they are 4 joke riders.
vinnie ortega Lmaof they need dumbasses with metal spikes and nazi helmets riding doing illegal drugs in the parking lot doing the same repetitive jumps or they dont think its cool enough. .... bring christianvaluesback.com........
Must be... we all know only women ride quads:-)
Lmao that’s funny as hell
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant
I miss Steve Lamson and Doug Henry too, that Honda team was the most iconic thing in Motocross history.
Amen to that!!
We grow up with terrafirma movies!!❤️
That was truly epic.
Such a cool tribute...+Red Bull straight rhythm...
