Walked around for 3 hours. Never found any vehicles in this game. So I got a refund. Worse than the snoozefest BF3 where you could actual spawn by a vehicle. Nothing like the good old BF2 or BF2142.

I wanted to love 2042 I really did and went in with an open mind from all the hype that finally it's a playable game. But I can't love it because there just is not enough vehicles at all in the game and there is no way I as a server admin would be able to fix it. For a hella fun server at least half the players should have access to some vehicle they can jump into. So they don't have to walk all over the dmmn map with nothing but a rifle like a peon-grunt. I walked around for 3 hours in 2042 to familiaruze myself with the maps and I didn't run across a single druvable vehicle. I don't kbow what DICE u Is thinking except to reduce the number of fast movibg objects they have to track by the server to pack more players into a server. 64 players was unheard i of back in the day unless it was all infantry only. Which swwcks. Quantity does not eqyal quality. 128 players is just riduculous.
I don't understand the people behind battlefield games. The more technology they have access to the worse the games get. There's no way the people who made Bad company 2 are the same people behind it now. It's a shambles, I wouldn't even waste my time watching a trailer for the next battlefield.
Did everyone forget that bf4 was unplayable for yrs full of issues a downgrade gameplay from bf3(which i played 2yrs after release and people told how bad that game was on release) bad hit reg which came back because the game is dead and ingame browser is broken u spend about 10+ min to find a game just to rubber bend all over the place in those few server that still have players and play the same 4 maps I tried to play it yesturday got bored af couldnt even play properly because of every server rubber bending, servers are disabling autokick because everyone have ping issues The only things i dislike about 2042 now are soules weapons and operator bs Headshot sound is so fkin good tho also some bs maps/modes that force into a smoke doorway blind spam like metro I got 2042 recently during spring sale tried free first 20hrs in and im enjoying it Maps everyone play same 4 weapons everyone uses same few considered the best, is good to have viriety but useless if theres none in game
I love 2042. Its a beautiful and fun game. Players saying bf4 looks better are dishonest but BF4 /bf3 for its time was more groundbreaking then 2042. Many attention to deal that was very present especially in bf1-5 are no longer present. The one thing that bf4 did much better was the jet. 2042’s jet looks so slow and floaty.
BF2042: + Better geometry deformation + Better explosion simulations + Can handle more bullet hole shaders (+ actually uses tricks to make them look 3 dimensional) + Planes create white vortices during maneuvers BF4: + Tank leaves trails on ice
After 10 years Battlefield 4 is still the best.

Most BC2 developers left after the game was finished. That's like... public knowledge, BF3 was basically an entirely new team
