Fishing for 52 years and I completely agree with one side of the boat catches fish or one rod rig is the one that catches all the fish. Use to fish Westernport Bay in my mates grandfathers boat and as guest Id get Grandma Coles rods and rig and stand on the left at the back which was her spot. On one trip I caught all the snapper and whiting and the most experienced fishos on the boat were filthy. Two families enjoyed my baked herbed citrus cavity snappers.

Thank you Simon. At day they tend to be caught easier on lures … metals cast at the birds and bait or trolling shallow diving lures around the birds and bait. Same areas around crab island mate

I just use my Flathead rids and reels . 2500-3000 size reel and 6’8-7ft rods

Hi, the dressed ganged hook setup is called "Shinto Pro Dressed ganged hooks". You can google them.i realise you just asked about the hooks only but this may help
