"The Shepherd's Church": St. Andrews of Didling

- About six miles from my home in South Harting, tucked away at the base of the South Downs, and practically hidden down a dirt lane, is the most amazing little church. St. Andrews, located in the tiny hamlet of Didling, is also known as the 'Shepherd's Church' because of its proximity to sheep farms and old drovers' trails. This 13th century house of worship is simple, rustic, and incredibly peaceful. People come from all over the world to step inside and walk back in time to the Middle Ages. There's no electricity, so services are held by candlelight. The stone font is one of the oldest in England, dating back to Saxon times,
