I just purchased 3 of these and will return ALL three...they are NOT standard sizes to replace the standard 2 or 3 GANG outlet holes. They are TOO LARGE! BTW, my house was CONSTRUCTED in 2022. These do not FIT standard TWO or MORE GANG holes

How do you do this if you have two black live and one red?

Sure would be nice if they didn't need more than the space in existing boxes people might want to retrofit these into. But then there's no money in retrofitting or reselling houses is there?

@@moes.official Having looked at the outlet and switch gang boxes in this house, none of the smart switches will fit in them. The issue is that besides the switch, wiring needs to fit, and this house was electrified over 50 years ago, when the switch and wiring took up a lot less space. We're talking a box that's all of 2 inches deep, and still needs to handle wire, and wire nuts to support the switch and the device being controlled. I'm not in a position to tear out walls to put in larger gang boxes. So, no, this won't fit. Still waiting on companies to recognize that there is a market for people not doing new construction.

@@moes.official thank you, I managed to find that out, but looking at my wires in the UK the blue is neutral, brown is live, but I don't have a third wire, just an earth wire, from what I understand the brown wire is a live lamp wire? So can I still make this smart switch work on 2 wires?
@@Rk-dq2pr I think you need to ask an electrician to find out which wires are in the house, because according to what you said, only the neutral wire and the live wire can't control the lights
