In this short video I take a tour of the surgical suites at ASMED hair transplant clinic in Istanbul, Turkey with Dr. Koray Erdogan's senior patient coordinator, Suzanna. I don't dive too deep into the details as those are too boring for video but I point out some of attractive points of how the surgical floor at ASMED is designed for patient care and with an emphasis on personal attention.

The cutting edge technology they have employed for the patient’s benefits is very reassuring and leaves most other clinics in their wake. Thanks for sharing Joe!

It's kind of like the final result of your transplant is relegated to article 25, paragraph 13, subsection C in an ASMED contract.
All these fancies mean nothing if the result is possibly lousy. Its marketing and appearance kind of seem aimed at the gullible.
It's funny how for me the more I see of all their extravagance, the more skeptical I become of them. But that's just me and i could be wrong.

I COMPLETELY understand and I agree 100%. However, when clinics apply to be on my website and my channel, I have to look beyond just results. I have to see their internal protocols, policies, and when I can visit them I need to see their facilities in depth as I do have enough clinical experience to notice when things aren’t done right. I could sit here and look at photos all day long and decide who to work with but that wouldn’t put much value on what I do. And videos like this aren’t supposed to convince anyone to choose ASMED but rather if one is so inclined to have surgery and is already considering them then these videos may be of interest.

Great video as always, Joe. Starting to wish I had just gone to Turkey myself instead. I'm 4 months post op of a FUE and my donor area is still VERY patchy and noticeable :( Could it still improve or do you think this is it unlikely now?

I wouldn’t say “many” but that in and of itself is highly subjective. I’d refer to the situation as “several”:) I’m currently reviewing two clinics now and I’m accepting another that will be shared the first week of July. I’m happy about the new one because they applied a year and a half ago and I’ve been working with them to improve some details before I could accept them.

The only thing I find a bit concerning about asmed is when there’s guys like Planet Stephen on UA-cam that have had 5K grafts put in the hairline at a young age from this clinic, the work looks good but how much donor is left if there is more progression.

    • @hairtransplantchannel

I think that his first result was pretty good overall but I also believe that not only should the clinic NOT have agreed to do the second surgery, they shouldn't have agreed to take him on as a patient in the first place. I saw red flags all over that guy and I believe my opinion would have been the best.

Have you seen some results of hairline design? Asmed has a YT channel but they seem to always film from really far away. So there is even on their website not a good way to see if only single crafts are used in the frontal hairline. And what about hair angles and temple work? That seems to be the most tricky part when doing FUE in Turkey.

@@hairtransplantchannel thanks for replying i'm looking forward to your video will be great to hear your full expertise about Asmed.👍
From what i have seen on their huge before and after gallery there seems to be pretty mixed results. Some patients have great results even close to
Dr. Aron Nusbaum in terms of naturalness, while other results of Asmed seem to have quite weird hair angles especially in the temple area. Maybe it varies depending on how expensive the package is that you choose ??

I am a patient of OCD and taking psychotic medicine last 6 years. My main concern is my hair fall started when I was 14. Now I am 30years old. Totally bald. Probably Norwood 7. But the problem is I have losing hair from lower and side portion of the head. Maybe retrograde alopecia. And also losing beard.almost 70% of my beard density has gone and losing my beard line. I saw many dermatologist but nothing works. I just want to know is it treatable?

It wouldn't be out of line, no. However, I can't answer that question as I don't like to get into the pricing of my members, but it is also not so cut and dry as only a personal consultation will reveal if they even think you need 5000 to begin with.
