I want to first say , you are doing a beautiful job 👍🏽I love your balloon garlands I still have trouble with the garland-, still a lot of spaces . I don’t drive so , I look for decor that can be transported easily . Thanks again .
Hey Miss Lady, you have great ideas. I'm proud of your success. Keep it up. I'm learning a lot already and just started watching your videos yesterday. God Bless you.
Thank you. I can't wait to try this. I avoided this type backdrop because of the boards. That's too much of a hassle trying to transport. But this is going to be great .
I am so thankful to have found your video! I’m attempting a boxwood backdrop for my wedding. There are few places to rent from and they’re expensive. It would be cheaper to DIY, but I’ve been stressing about ending up with hedge panels that don’t blend well (which yours looks like one perfect piece!) and about how the heck I’m going to support it. Your video has answered both. Thank you!
thank u I have some nosey neighbors and during this time I want to be socially distanced as much as I can but still get air... just realized their where whole pockets of open area in my yard... what to do 🤔... then I see your video... 💡⚡
I have FINALLY gone ahead and ordered some boxwood and it arrives tomorrow. If I get a collapsible stand, will it tilt over? The pipe and drape is a little pricey.
Hey girl I love you and these videos but I have an important question. What backdrop stand do I need for two separate sides with just one backdrop stand.I dont want to buy two.I want both kids to have it together but there own side.Spiderman and Frozen.Thank u.November party
Will the collapsible stand work instead of the pipe and drape stand? I want to make 1 for my baby shower but not trying to spend too much on a stand I'm only using once. Is there a way to make the collapsible stand more study to hold the boxwood?
Yes, I used it for the luau party Vlog. Just make sure you zip tie the grass before hanging the cross bar and have someone to help you keep the stand balanced.
Good idea with the zip ties and them being green as well so they are not seen. The only thing I would explained in the video is that b/c your connecting the bottom to the cross bar, you would then have to turn the whole thing around so it faces the correct way.
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. You hv donr a wonderful job. I'm planning getting boxwoodhedge grass can you please tell me the size you use in this video?
Thank you for this help! Are you using these stands for your drapery? (the garage baby shower video) Would you please post a video explaining this too?
@@SharpeDesignsbyLakeisha Thank you for your reply! I'm interested in learning how to do the drapery mostly. Your backdrops and drapery is always amazing. Do you have a preferred brand for curtains? Are they even curtains or are they fabric? Are you using multiple stands? I checked your link and saw that the stands extend to 10ft. I apologize for asking so much. I'm planning my daughter's 1st bday and we intend to use our garage as well. I'm trying to figure out a way to cover these walls in a cost efficient method.
Love this tutorial! I am going to attempt this for my son's Lon King birthday theme party. Just want to clarify before I purchase the required items...it's the pipe and drape stand OR the collapsable stand, correct, not both? Thank you in advance!
What brand is this . I just purchased 36 pieces and mine came with big areas a missing greenery and it’s see-through very light it’s supposed to be the pro version of theirs meeting it should be thicker. I am considering returning it
What size is this wall and how many panels did you use. Ill be getting some for a party but I never used this ..and do not know how many I will need for an 8x8
How big are each of those grass patches, I’m trying to figure how many to get and I’m not sure if getting multiple of 25cmx25cm is big enough for my backdrop
Sharpe Designs by Lakeisha hello, I had the same question, I clicked the link and it is a set of 12 panels, yours looks like more, just want to be sure that’s the correct one before I purchase. Thank you for the video
This looks nice, but as a few other people started the plywood was holding me back. I'm not that far into the backdrops yet. I have a PVC one that I made. It is really sturdy though. I did it where the are poles crisscrossed through the middle also.
Lakeisha. I’m sorry. I know everyone has asked quite a few times. I’m not sure if you said it in this video or others but you said your boxwood measures 8 feet by 8 feet but the link you added only includes 12 panels each 20” by 20” totaling to 33 square feet. We would only be able to do 4 panels high by 3 panels wide totaling to 80” x 60” = 6.7’ x 5’ = 33 square feet. 8’ x 8’ = 96” x96” = 64 square feet. Did they accidentally send you extra? I just want to make sure before I order from this link expecting 8’ x 8’. You’re amazing by the way and I love and appreciate your videos and you sharing with us all! :-)
Hello, what a great job! So I was wondering since the link to the original link you posted for the boxwood grass is not available any longer on Amazon do you have another suggestion? Also, how many packs would I have to buy for an 8'x8' wall? Keep up the great work
Tykia McWilliams ours is a pretty thick and he also uses sandbags on the legs when it needs to reinforced due to wind or similiar... find a camera shop and ask about one and look at it before purchasing
I had been looking at stands on Amazon that are made for photography backdrops, but I was concerned about them being too weak to hold up the boxwood tiles. It looks like the pipe and drape stand is a lot sturdier.
hi quick question. the link you have for amazon for the greenery is that all that you used for this tutorial ? or did you buy more greenery. ? thank you.
Imani Faith I used a collapsible backdrop stand with the boxwood for my daughters party. The boxwood was too heavy and it bowed in the middle from the weight
thank you for this video! I'm getting mine started this weekend. I didn't think anyone did a video like this, all the ones I've seen used plywood etc, then I came across yours! So thank you love. btw this sounds weird and/or creepy but I feel like I have seen you around my area before, like I know you lol but I looked at your IG account, your just next door in GA. I'm in Nashville, TN sooo heyyyyyy :) great video! keep it coming!
How much did the whole thing cost to make? I have the pipe set already. I asked someone to make the grass backdrop and they said its about $350. Do you think I can make this for cheaper then $350?
Yes, all you need is the boxwood hedge itself and maybe some zip ties (which most boxes comes with already). Shouldn't be more than $150. But it really just depends on how big you want it to be
You have inspired me🥰 your hands are blessed to design keep up the good work and looking forward to many more videos ✅
Honestly I just want to come on here to say thank you for sharing all of your videos! It is truly appreciated and inspiring!
You are more than welcome!!❤️
I am a DIY photo booth you tube guy and this is perfect for me. Thanks so much for the video! Just found your channel. Loving it.

Love this! I already have this backdrop stand & just purchased 2 orders of the boxwood grass! Can't wait!
Where can I buy the grass?
i am making a living champagne wall diy and did not want to use plywood because i wanted to be mobile and sturdy- THANK YOU!!!
Way easier than stapling them to a green sprayed painted plywood. THANK YOU!!!
Tip: pipe and drape components consist of 2 - weighted bases, 2 - uprights and 1 - crossbar
Hey Miss Lady, you have great ideas. I'm proud of your success. Keep it up. I'm learning a lot already and just started watching your videos yesterday. God Bless you.
I saw someone do something very similar in the Philippines. I’m so happy you made a tutorial! ♥️
I love your videos! in this tutorial how many pieces did you use for hedge backdrop?
Thank you. I can't wait to try this. I avoided this type backdrop because of the boards. That's too much of a hassle trying to transport. But this is going to be great .
Thank you for this!! I’m going to try and make one for my baby shower 🤞🏽
Do you happen to have a link for the stand? I love your tutorial and how detailed and affordable this would be to recreate! 💕
Just look for any pipe and drape stand on google. A set typically runs around $100. The base plates are heavy to hold them still.
This is the best tutorial for this, hands down!!
Hats down to you, it's very beautiful. I love your creativity. Thanks for this video gonna try it soon.
This was sooo helpful!!! This Is exactly what I need for my UA-cam setup. Thank you!!!
Can we use multiple heavy duty command hooks instead of nails to hang them up from the wall? Thank you for sharing this informative video.
Just subscribed!!!! Love allllll your videos, especially the balloon garland tutorials!

Glad I could help! Good Luck🖤
Where did you get that stand from?!
This helped me for Eid for my cousin’s and nieces. Thank you for this😘🥰 And Eid Mubarak 🌸

Thank you for the video! I know now! But I will set up on the floor
Are you able to set it up and transport it to another place in a car/suv? Or do you have to set up at the location?
Very informative and easy to set up!!! Thanks!
You are so helpful and inspring. thank you.

Thanks for explaining!! I have all this stuff in m yhead to say, and when I start I forget half of it :)
Have you used it this way outdoors? If so, do you do anything to secure the bottom?
i love this video! very helpful and easy to follow. quick question? where can I purchase a pipe and drape set that is very sturdy and reliable?
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. You hv donr a wonderful job. I'm planning getting boxwoodhedge grass can you please tell me the size you use in this video?
Came across your page and I’m sooo inspired 😍😍 love that backdrop. How many pcs do you have in this video?

Yes. I use this stand or the other ones I use most in videos. What about that video did you have questions about?

Where do you buy the pipe hanging / base thing?
Love Love LOVED this! Thank you ma’am!

Thank you for this. Question do you think I could use a peg board on the stand?
I'm assuming you wouldn't be able to add wood or neon signs on the hedge with this setup?
They sell the hedges by small square panels. How many did you have to buy to create that big backdrop? Thanks.
I purchased the boxwood hedge in link in the bio. One order.
Sharpe Designs by Lakeisha hello, I had the same question, I clicked the link and it is a set of 12 panels, yours looks like more, just want to be sure that’s the correct one before I purchase. Thank you for the video
Please a 4 by 8 feet carpet grass is it ok for wedding back drop?
Can you share the link for exact backdrop stand please
How many feet is your green backdrop and how many panels did you have to use and what size?
Awesome Clip thank you from Hawaii!!!
Do you keep your boxwood backdrop always on that crossbar or do you cut off zip ties each time?
This looks nice, but as a few other people started the plywood was holding me back. I'm not that far into the backdrops yet. I have a PVC one that I made. It is really sturdy though. I did it where the are poles crisscrossed through the middle also.
Thank you so much for making thos video!!! The amazon link for the hedges are no longer available for purchase. Do you have any other recommendations?
Hey, I’m doing a video on photo booth backdrops for my channel, can I feature your video in my comments? Thanks.
So once you attach the grass it is all just hanging freely ?
So where do I hey the pipes from?
Love your video ♥️
I'm wondering if the pole dips in the middle at all because of the weight of the boxwood panels?
it doesn't. It's firm hard metal, i belive stainless steel
I love your videos!so creative
would double sided tape work? i cannot put nails into my wall. it is concrete and I cannot make holes as I am renting!
Sooooo cute
would i be able to hang a neon sign on this??
Hello! for that exact size did you only order the 1 package that comes with 12?
