      I'm curious if you live in the USA. Those seed packets are common in the USA but your accent is not like any I have heard in the USA.

    I have never saw anyone grow plants in plastic bags until I stumbled across this channel. First video I saw was the many onions from onion bottom video. How well do the plastic bags hold up over the growing season?

    • @dr_obisgarden
      @dr_obisgarden  2 роки тому +3

      It depends. The biodegradable ones don't last long when exposed to the sun so they are ideal for short cycle plants like lettuce. The regular ones can last a full season for crops like carrots, tomatoes if they're not being moved around. My favorites are those you get when you buy clothing or shoes. They often last longer.

    • @dr_obisgarden
      @dr_obisgarden  2 роки тому +2

      Banana peel fertilizer is fertilizer made from banana peel. It's very easy to make and it's a good source of potassium for the plant.

      Carrots are biennial plants. If you leave them in the ground, the tops will flower and produce seeds the second year.

    Why ur not showing that the carrots can bw grown from the bulb like the onions

    • @dr_obisgarden
      @dr_obisgarden  2 роки тому

      You can do that but imo it's not always worth the time. You only get 1 carrot per each carrot top but with the onions, you get many onions from 1 onion.
