But it left out one of the best parts. The part about how Cain killed his brother then got banished. He popped up after a while only to start building cities. Maybe they left it out because there is no logical explanation as to whom he was building the cities with, or who was supposed to live in them. But whatever... praise Jesus. 🤣

THIS IS REALLY WELL DONE! Bravo! I appreciate this so much. I'll use it with the church kids. I appreciate the fire effects. That was really what happened I believe. You knew if your sacrifice was accepted because fire consumed it or not. There are a few passages that would indicate this like in Elijah's case, etc. It is just my understanding, but even though Cain's heart was in the wrong place, and he may not have offered the best of the produce. But actually I think his sacrifice was not accepted because "without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin." So, perhaps it was not that it was poor produce, but rather that it was PRODUCE. He did not offer and worship in the way God had instructed - probably to Adam and Even when he made them coats of skin - a sacrificial system was instructed, involving a lamb. Just a thought. . .
God looks on the intents of our heart. No good tree can produce bad fruit. Cain, out of the bad fruit in his heart thought he could offer to God his bad fruit and God, being good and holy would not just accept any offering, because God's standards are high and righteous therefore He should always receive the best, the most pure offering. It didn't state the type of offering that was being given of the brothers but truly when it is for a sin offering blood would need to be exchanged for remission. The brothers may have just sought to give God a gift or a grain offering from the increase God had given in their labour, ie. Abel from the flocks and Cain from the field. The chapter in Genesis 4 notes that Cain gave from the fat flocks and Abel simply from the produce of the field. Another example of the gift or grain offering is seen with Gideon in Judges 6 where he offered unleavened bread, broth and meat in a basket. Hope this helps.
