Wrong on the first one it was Phil garrett code C -FDJC and that’s because I flew on it in 1978 it was the first jumbo jet I got to fly on and even to this day I shall always remember the meals on board.... very memorable enjoyable flight

Again the question from me is vexed: I heard either that 1: there were only three Wardair 747s in total (all 100 747-100s and 747-200s combined) or 2: There were only three Wardair 747-200s. which of those two statements are true?
My 2nd 747 flight was in early June 1983 from Vancouver to London (but I cannot remember if it landed in Heathrow or Gatwick, and it might have stopped over in Calgary but I doubt it.). In this case the "Wardair 747-100s" you displayed in this video all have 10 windows on each side of the upper passenger deck, which is generally what the 747-100s had, but I realize it's possible that in some cases the later 747-100s had ten windows on each side of the upper passenger deck as well.
BTW I LOVE @1:25- 1:32 of this video; it's classic YVR (Vancouver International Airport, even if they started upgrading the original 1968 plan immediately since it opened with only 12 gates, none of which could accommodate wide body aircraft that needed gates with jet bridges that would accommodate wide body airliners, which NONE of the original 12 gates could achieve.) Once again: thanks for posting!

      Good day Paolo!
I sincerely apologize for being unable to reply to the 1st comment you made months (?) ago. I also apologize for replying this late. Anyways, to answer your question,
      1. Wardair owned a total of 5 Boeing 747s throughout its existence with the airline. This includes:
      TWO Boeing 747-200s:
C-GXRA and C-GXRD - Delivered in 1978 and 1979, respectively. Both went to British Caledonian Airways, subsequently to British Airways, and finally to Philippine Airlines.
      THREE Boeing 747-100s:
C-FTOB - Originally delivered to Air Canada as CF-TOB. It was leased to Iberia and Middle East Airlines before being bought by Wardair in 1986. It also went to FedEx and Nationair before finally ending up with Air Atlanta Icelandic in 1993.
CF-DJC/C-FDJC - Originally meant for Universal and Braniff before ultimately ending up with Wardair in 1973. It was also leased to Nationair who in turn leased it to Garuda Indonesia and Saudia before also ending up with Air Atlanta Icelandic.
C-FFUN - Delivered to Continental as N26864 (Robert F. Six). It went to Wardair in 1974 and was also leased to Nationair before ending up with Air Atlanta Icelandic just like the other two.
      2. Yes, 741s that have 10 windows each side on the upper deck were a thing since at least 1972 to increase the capacity for passengers instead of utilizing it as a fancy lounge.
Lastly, I'd like to thank you for the compliments, I highly appreciate them (:D). On the other hand, hopefully I was able to clarify and answer your question in a clear and understandable way.

@@BlaneAbbiction Actually, thank you! You answered almost all of my questions. The only ones I have left are 1: Did ANY of the Wardair 747-100s have three windows on each side of the upper deck? 2: Which 747 is the one I most likely flew on in June 1983? (BTW a Flight attendant told me the plane I was on was a 747-200.) If you cannot answer, you've still provided me with more answers than I was expecting to have. Thanks again!

      Good day again!
      1. Nope, when the first 741 was delivered to the airline, the upper deck already had 20 windows in total, 10 on each side.
      2. To be honest, that would be a bit difficult but I'd bet that it was C-GXRA as there's a pic of it on abpic.co.uk, which was shot in Gatwick 3 months after your flight 38 years ago.
      :D

@@BlaneAbbiction It was probably C-GXRA. and a slim chance it was the other one. speaking of which where did the other (C-GXRD) usually fly to/from? BTW thank you very much for answering!
