- Sharing a proper Chemical Exfoliation routine for face with be minimalist lactic acid serum. Chemical Exfoliation for the face is important to prevent acne, get soft and smooth skin, bright skin, and gradually exfoliation helps in fading pigmentation. The routine I have shared is for normal, dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin, but I have shared some moisturizer and toner alternatives for oily and combination skin.
I have also shared skincare tips on chemical exfoliation at home, which will help in avoiding skin barrier damage or any kind of redness and irritation. I hope you all like this exfoliation routine and find it helpful.

Thank you! This was so clear and to the point! If I use chemical exfoliant only once a week, is it enough to apply sunscreen just the next day after applying the exfoliant or should I apply every single day? Because I stay indoors all the time.

Hello Shelley Di! I’m very confused if I should use my niacinamide serum with lactic acid serum because some articles say that it’s better to layer them with 30 mins interval and some suggest not to do. Just for reference I use axis-y dark spot correcting glow serum (a very gentle formulation with Niacinamide made for people with sensitive skin) and chemist at play exfoliating serum (mainly lactic acid and HA as it’s main ingredient)
Can I use cosrx aha bha toner twice a week and cosrx aha liquid once a week?

Hello Shelley! Thankyou so much for this informative video on chemical exfoliation. I was looking for this kind of video as I am a beginner. I was recently introduced to this concept. As I was not much aware of this concept, I purchased AHA and BHA exfoliator from Dermatouch. I am using it once in 15 days. I apply this on my face and wash it off after 15 minutes. Now I am bit confused regarding the serum or the essence or the moisturizer which can be immediately applied after rinsing my face. Please solve the issue. Actually my skin feels very dry after chemical exfoliation.
What are the precautions we are supposed to take next morning??? Can we continue with our daily routine which we are following regularly as you have mentioned in your early videos...

When i use only face wash and nothing else, my skin dosent get any acne or redness, on other hand i started using oil cleanser(innisfree apple seed cleansing oil), moisturizer(cosrx advance snail 92 all in one cream), sunscream(lotus herbal safe sun spf50), sleeping mask(laneige water sleeping mask) all this skincare products i got a lot of acne and redness , what should i do?(my skin is normal and may be sensitive bcz i used this products and it reacts)

I have super dry skin niacinamide makes my skin super oily, I am using ordinary 10% niacinamide with snail mucin and minimalist alpha arbutin.
i use rice water after cleansing so i should first let the rice water sink completely then go in with this toner right?

But its an exfoliating product and even this lactic acid has HA. If any product primarily is exfoliating, it has to be applied on dry skin. ❤️

I will suggest not to! As Niacinamide can dehydrate the already dehydrated skin.

Hi, the reason is either the combination of two exfoliating product is irritating your skin or your skin is sensitive to either of these. Try using them separately to identify ! 😊

@@salmankhancrazyfan1518 hmm maybe your skin is sensitive to them... stop using them for now... after 3 weeks, you may start again with either of these as a weekly exfoliator.
