    The last project could be cool for someone you know who is a pilot, put a little toy airplane in there, flying over the earth... or some spaceships over a starfield, for an astronaut fan! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Alright, now your just spoiling us with 8 projects. I really learned a ton today, I now know my project I did with sand , shells, and needlework was put together backward, and didn't use a UV safe resin. Thank you for your sharing, I have learned so much from you. You challenge me to try this again.

    You should do the salt and pepper shakers again, but put the same small white rocks in the salt shaker and black peppercorns in the pepper shaker. Same or different containers.
    And, bahaha on the flat 🌎!

    I can not avoid getting air bubbles, no matter how slowly and carefully I stir. I remove some of them by letting the resin sit in some hot water, but still bubbles. It's ruining my crafts! Help!

      Are you using polyester resin instead of epoxy resin? Polyester resin is flammable.

    I have 2 questions
    1. What do you do with the extra resin mixture, I mean how do you store it if you make excess?
    2. What if I don't use a UV lamp to dry the resin will it make a difference in appearance and can it be dried with using the lamp?
    I guess it's 3 questions!!

    • @resinAce
      @resinAce  5 років тому +1

      Hi, once you have mixed your resin it will start to cure and must be used fairly quickly - you cannot store it. I pour my excess resin into gummy bear moulds to make cabochons for other projects. In this video I only used UV resin to stick the map to the base of the paperweight, and I used a UV lamp to cure it. The main resin I use is epoxy resin, which will cure on its own with no lamp required.
