This Weekend in 60 Seconds Feb 22-25
So many concerts in town over the next couple weeks, kinda scary actually. Lots of local acts busy as well, and all the best venues are active.
The Jazz Jam kicks the weekend off again on Thursday at the RCA. Revelry has more Green Light Sessions, this time with Nika Schaan, Jese Lawrence, and Michaela Bray all offering up one hour sets. Rubber Tire Peep Show are in at Red Bird Brewing and Walter Jane is opening for them. Joshua Smith is at Buffalo Rouge Brewing, and Pappa Dawg is doing a ticketed show at Unlabeled. Nate Smith brings his World On Fire tour to Kelowna Community Theatre.
The blues continue across the weekend, with Cat Wells taking her band into DunnEnzies in the Mission on Friday, and the James Hay Blues Band hitting the Reverly stage on Saturday, so if blues is your thing, you have so many options this weekend.
Friday also sees the start of two nighters by Instario at Whiski-Jacks, Mama Wheelie at O'Flannigan's, and Young'uns at the Blue Gator.
Major Mambo are at Soul de Cuba on Saturday, and Nightshades are at Red Bird. Gold Mynd is at DunnEnzies.
Sunday sees Kailee Duggan and D'Arcy Booth return to Barn Owl Brewing and Anna Jacyszyn out at Crown & Thieves for another Prohibition Party. William Prince is at KCT, and Sam Roberts Band are there next Tuesday.
Wait a minute, the minute's up already! Slip into your "go fasters" and go catch some live tuneage.
