That little rhyme "no more pencils no more books" was around since the 1940"s. Alice brillientley incorporated it into the song. Also, using the children's choir to sing the chorus in the background was producer Bob Ezrin's idea. Later Ezrin used the same device when producing Pink Floyds' "The Wall" when the children sing "we don't need no education". For the last few years Alice has been mixing both songs together for his encore. Here's a recent video of Alice Cooper doing Schools Out/ The Wall live. ua-cam.com/video/vNgGcYc9Pow/v-deo.html
I used to play this for my kids at the end of every school year Keep up the good video reviews. I really like your channel. Be patient the views will come
In the 1970s, on the last day of school, my friends and I would go down to the creek, start a bonfire, and burn all of the school papers we had accumulated the previous school year. Of course, this all happened while blasting "School's Out" by Alice Cooper
Nice discover for you, need all these albums and each of them in one sitting (not really a theme, but somehow it feels like that) These 5 killer albums they released one after the other: 💥Schools Out 💥Love It to Death 💥Killer 💥Billion Dollar Babies 💥Muscle of Love
This was every kids anthem ✌️
Ahh high school memories.......!

We loved this song! Even if you weren't a huge Cooper fan.
