I think i am going to side with fam on the sound of a nice V8 but i will say the 5 cylinder in the RS3 sounds great as well. One of ny fav though is a boosted Inline 6 (2JZ).
these N models got so much accomplishments on the track almost(almost) comparable to the R32 skyline back in the day. The Rs3 is a beast too but me personally i like(and own) the TT models from audi. Hyundai came a long way both cars are a beast lol

Funny I'm actually going a whole different route after considering the same route you went. After eyerolling on rs for awhile after WRX, I gave another shot at fwd. Doesn't make sense to buy another new gas car ATM. Waiting on ioniq n or ev9gt
