In this Video im gonna be commentating over my Gameplay of my Playthorugh of the Sonic Frontiers Demo! I will also talk about cyberspace stages i have recorded + a Titan Boss!

I think the reason why Sonic was slower in the cyberspace zone is because you didn't have a chance to upgrade your speed

No need to be sorry about not reaching the Cyber Space level. Thanks for showcasing how fluid Sonic’s movement is in this game. Watching your gameplay confirmed to me that Sonic controls smoothly. Also, boosted cyloop is gonna be so fun. In addition, thanks for the additional recordings from waiting in the line. 👍
This pretty relaxed to hear.
1.the heart thing is for Amy (can't remember what it do)
2.the blue devil fruit is defense fruit
3.the enemy will get stronger as the game goes on
4.the boss asura look ea...never mind it going to be little annoying
And I think to unlock the chaos emeralds you need the minimum of key because well... The game still in demo and you can play like 15 minutes yeah I think this going to change in the future. Anyway great video😎👍

Thanks for sharing all of this info! I'm glad to hear Cyberspace stages have some vocals in their music, that was something I appreciated from Adventure-era games as well as Forces (and some others) that I was afraid might not get included. Out of curiosity though, is the song's melody still a remix of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Sky Sanctuary melody?
If Sonic moves slower and finishes cyberspace stages in 1 min and there's an upgrade to speed, that's actually pretty bad. That might mean these stages are really only about 30-40 seconds if upgrades are available. I don't get why each stage can't just be 2+ minutes. What part of the fan base loves short stages? That's not a good way to demonstrate speed so they still didn't learn from what they thought were bright ideas in Forces.

Makes the game look a lot more enjoyable. Do you think the game is better or worse than Sonic Colors? I know that's a bit of an odd game to compare it to, but I like that game despite its problems, I'm just curious to see how it compares in quality.

@@ROB-fz1yk That's fascinating. While I'm a fan of Colors, I'm not a fan of how games like Colors and especially Forces have several super short levels that tie the entire game together.
The stages look short in this game, but I feel like it'll be more interesting since the main portion of the game is the open zones and the Cyber Space levels are sort of like the platforming challenge rooms in Super Mario Odyssey.
If there isn't a lot of replayability in this game, I feel like there's some insane speedrun potential with this game, and I'm really excited to see where it goes with this game.
I don't think comparing this game to Sonic colors is odd at all considering both titles have the same director. In fact the director of this game also directed Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic Lost world and Sonic forces. If anything Sonic colors is the gold standard for the director in question Morio kishimoto. Of course that's not to say that Sonic colors was certainly perfect that's for sure.
@S. Bernhardt my mistake. I thought he directed Black Knight especially since it and Frontiers look similar to me visually.
Thank you so much man! Not sure if it gets answered later on, but on the more linear “skinny hallway” portions of the cyberspace levels, is it automated to only go forward or is it possible to move side to side and possibly fall off (if you wanted to)?

Hello man, excellent job on providing good information on Sonic Frontiers. I have a few questions:
1) I heard that Sonic can go underwater in 3D for the first since SA1. Were you able to test it? If yes, does the iconic drowning music from the Classic games play when you run low on oxygen?
2) Can Sonic perform different finishers after doing his Rush combo? Do you need to do different inputs and time them to do these different finishers?
3) Does the combat feel button mashy or is there actual skill and strategy involved?
4) Were you able to test the game on hard mode? If yes, how different was it compared to normal difficulty? Does ''hard mode'' feel actually challenging or is it about the same as ''hard mode'' in Forces?

2) i dont know i had no chance to test it out because it was a skill in the skill tree
3) if u unlock the other skills there is strategy
and also strategy while dodging its really fun

@@superkulty64 to answer your second question, i believe it's like kingdom hearts where you need to input certain buttons during your basic combo to use the attacks.

Did you think shadow or metal will appear like race or just boss fight in open zone or cyberspace?
I would like race in open zone for an objectif expemple for emerald or key vs metal

Was there a battle theme for basic enemies?
What song was similar to sky sanctuary’s vocal theme?
What was the best and worst thing about this game?
Do you have any information left out of the video?

2. Upbeat type Sonic boom with a little bit of less vocals (Sonic CD)
3. I dont have a worst thing and the best thing is the game

Does cyber space control and feel the same as the open zone but linear or does it control like an average boost game?
a bit slower and not really like an average boost game u still have as much control as in the open world
I think the reason why sonic was slow in cyberspace was because your speed is level 1. Maybe once you max the speed you will probably reach unleashed level speed
If you could answer this:
Did Sonic have any form of momentum or slope physics like gaining speed running downhill or rolling from the drop dash downhill.
If so, how did it feel? Did he feel clunky, was it really smooth and satisfying?
yes there is momentum and it was really smooth to controll

@@gamingwithdream2005 It seems like a pretty good example of how it works in this game is @21:24 where sonic successfully goes up a vertical wall with very low speed, and then when he runs back down he stops immediately on the curve.

was the lightspeed dash being on the L3 awkward for you or did it feel fine
I could no test it out but from what i saw it looks and feels like the one from the infinity engine

4. I’ve heard that the music slaps, at least in Cyberspace, it sounded very drum and bass from what little I’ve heard. Do you like this new style?

15:00 - 15:01 how the HELL is noone talking about this? Be it the spin-dash or spin attack, Sonic can tuck into a ball in this game... Can you hold that down and stay in ball form for extended periods?
Only in 2d cyberspace level 3d is only drop dash

@@ROB-fz1yk oh ok bro thanks, by the way your gameplay is the best one i seen so far, sonic is fast in the open zone in your gameplay ....and i dont felt that in the others gameplay ,so i think they played on action mode.

Yeah the cyber space stages are definitely better than forces but my thing is some of sonics movement in cyberspace like they should have added the tricking from generations because some sections sonic is just in mid air and it’s like awkward. It’s not really a big deal but I’m still excited for the game never the less
mabey u can use air tricks once unlocked in cyberspace too
Anyone know if you can turn the boost icon off? I dunno why more people arent mentioning how distracting it is to have a blue circle constantly next to sonic
u have unlimited boost in action mode

Honestly Cyber Space is my biggest problem with Frontiers. It feels like Frontiers wants to try new things and with the open zones and the combat, and all that looks like a lot of fun, but Cyber Space feels like it is stuck in the meta era. The new Highway stage is the only one that looks new and good and that is in 2D. I like the idea of Cyber Space, I just don’t know why they had to rip off level design from Unleashed and Generations.
Oh and one thing I don’t really like about the control in this game is that the air boost always sends you at an upward angle for some reason. I actually prefer the air boost in Forces where the angle it sent you at was based on your vertical velocity. That felt really good. This just kinda looks awkward in my opinion. Like you have to wait to fall a little bit to line up air boosts.

I like it becaus its suppose to be sonic memorys about scrambled up.
Kind of seems inspired by the sonic omens playstyle, just a little more stiff. I think thats amazing
