Another great review 👍 . I agreed that a swivel would be a great feature on the holster particularly for being able to adjust it for when sitting down .
I got this delivered last week and its excellent for sheer light output power. Only negative is the mode button is a bit annoying. In the dark your not sure if the button is at the top or bottom so u fumble round trying to find the mode button
Thanks for your review. Thorough as always😀. The swivel is one thing, sure. But there are a few more. Compared with the Klarus XT21X, a similar light, I wonder what target group Nitecore is aiming at. Tactical? With almost no throw? EDC? With no tailstand? Flooder? With almost no turbo time? And there is more, but its enough said. Nitecore is a good brand but they have to look into their priorities. And that typical battery?
@@CharlesBridgTec thanks Charles, I'm going to buy mine and insert it in the collection, I already have the Mh25s, the P30i and the LR60. I've been following your channel for two years, you do an excellent job of publicity, I just have to thank you and wish you success!
The Olight Warrior 21700 are my favorite lights from them but they have a different beam type. The Nitecore i4000R is more of a flood light. My favorite beam type is combination. Thanks for watching!
Turbo for 5 mins? Is that true ? Normally just one thing I don’t like about nitecore is the turbo of their flashlights step down quicker than other brands
Thanks for another great review Charles. How does this stack up to the Klarus X21x ? Both seem to have similar throw/ flood and both have the instant access to strobe. What would you go with for a tac option and build quality ?
Hello Charles hope all is well. Now that im a flashaholic I'm debating my next purchase between this nitecore, nitecore E4K, Klaurus g15 and Fenix pd40r v2. What do you suggest?
Another great review! I notice another proprietary battery! Will it take a regular 21700 like Samsung 40T? I did read that it would take CR123 batteries, so maybe regular 21700’s work also? I really think twice before buying any light using only proprietary batteries. If you own the light and they no longer support the battery, then you are out of luck!!
I did not try another battery because of the type of head contact there is. I am glad that the battery can be replaced by customer. Thanks for watching!
I don’t know the difference so maybe you can explain. You state it’s xml p2v6 but on the nitecore website it says xpl p2v6 for the Cree led’s. I’m looking to buy this with your discount code
I love this flashlight and thanks for the great review. Does the 1,100 lumen level step down after a certain period of time, or is it only the "Turbo" 4,400 lumen level that steps down? I'll use your coupon code to buy this. Thanks again.
If you are not familiar about flashlight then you should watch more of my flashlight videos. Moonlight/Firefly modes are very popular among flashlight users. Thanks for watching!
That looks almost like the older Nitecore TM03 with the rubber tactical tail switch with mode button, the narrow shaft and larger head for the emiiters...the only difference is the i4000R has higher lumens, uses a 21700 battery and 4 LED's vs the TM03's lower 2800 lumens, uses a custom Nitecore 18650D battery and a single Cree XHP70 LED
Charles, I’ve been watching a lot of your reviews and find them absolutely perfect. Are you expecting to get a Nitecore E4K for testing? That light has my interest however i’m hearing the UI is a bit weird. I hope you do get your hands on one for another awesome review!
I have the answer to why more and more Flashlights are stepping down a lot quicker on Turbo, because they have taken away the 26650 batt and replaced it with 21700, and those batteries can only hold Turbo for 15 seconds, bring back the 26650.
Actually the turbo is longer on the i4000R for I ran test after the night shots and it was holding it for over 2 minutes. Seems my cold fingers where the culprit. The battery is actually an LG which is 20A. The runtime at 1100 lumens is great. Thanks for watching!
Sweet light, but not without deal breakers: 1. No side switch 2. Step from High to Turbo too big 3. Four LEDs in such small case. Waste. One XHP70 or XHP70.2 is more than enough. 4. Tail switch pointless if no throw.
Great review Charles! Your "The" go-to guy for light reviews. Thnx!!👍👍

Good video! Personally, I prefer this than the new p20ix. Reason is the higher lumens and candelas.

I'm getting mine tomorrow 😊
You're gonna enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
You also did a video on it too.
All praise USB-C

Nitecore giving the people what they want. I'm starting to really like this company

How long will it stay on turbo before stepping down? You didn't mention that this time.
Depends on your weather conditions. It was doing about 5 mintues in cold weather. Thanls for watching!

No. Thanks for watching!
Strobe would have been good to see outside.
Not really. Thanks for watching!
I wished that they made the switch the old way. A magnetic switch on the side for the thumb use.
Thanks for watching!
Mostly of those fls that have the switch are intended for tactical use. But can also be used as EDC.
Why do they put such a low power on it when you can't see shit with it ? Why not just put turbo and the one just below turbo ?
