I have to agree with the biscuit on the fact that netdecking is bull shit. Seriously half the game is about making your deck and a bunch of people just forget that part exists and go off to find a netdeck and than they go off to get rid of the other half by finding some instructions for it so they can win games without having to actually think on anything more than a basic level.
I agree, but there is a problem involved in making your own decks. You will not be able to move past rank 14 or 13. It's much easier to copy an existing deck from "Icy-Veins" or Trump thus gaining a better way of acquiring legendary card back and golden porters.
+TheDieThrower The problem is that hearthstone is NOT a noob-friendly game.If you are new at the game and struggling to get a >30% win rate because litteraly everyone just sits on rank 20-19 to farm these new players when they have wallet warrior decks you don't really care about making your own deck. That is why face-hunter is such a popular one.You want to make the game fun for yourself, and when you have just started the game and you get matched with top100 legend players you have to find a way to ''fight back'' and have fun playing the game. It is easy for TB to accusse others of making aggro hunter decks and netdecking when he has put a LOT of money in the game to get his full collection.
Arion Richter the thing is you would be able to get higher on the ladder with your own deck if arseholes didn't netdeck thus meaning netdecking is the issue.
Thanos Grivas How is face hunter fun? Anyways Sips sucks at hearthstone and yet he's doing a F2P thing with streams and guess what he's doing well without the huntard!
+TheDieThrower As a person who used to play, and even then made my own decks, I never netdecked because I never had enough cards to make good decks, and If i had the chance to face hunter of course i would! It takes quite a bit of time to get enough gold to get some of the more important cards!
+TheDieThrower Im sorry but as someone who fights Face hunters religiously I must say, Your Wrong, they are incredibly intelligent and capable people, and it is likely that IRL if you play face hunter you are some sort of immortal demigod with a fast sportscar and amazing sums of money....... that said I hate face hunters...
I kind of wish Hearthstone had gimmick servers, like WoW has RP servers. That way people who like to mess around and play their own decks could do it without constantly facing 'anti-fun' netdecks.
+Nick “TNFox” Rhodes Mostly it's people like you moaning about other comments. Most of the stuff I read is actually legitimate Yknow. Except for this kind of thing
TheOriginalElkstone BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh wait, you're serious. I'm sorry. I'll leave you to your naïve ignorance. May God help your poor, innocent soul.
i LOVE how tb gets the idea of naming things properly, if you are a shaman with only 2 totems, your just another midrange shaman, but if you add every totem syngery and totem card themself, THEN you're a totem shaman, same when people started making Dragon decks with 1 dragon in them... xD
Agree with TB when he says in another video that Hearthstone isn't that interesting anymore. Enjoyed it quite a bit in beta, haven't played it since, but when I played it again it started to lose its luster a lot quicker. Too many ridiculous cards in the game.
30:00, why did he not play the secret keeper and all the secrets? playing justicar did nothing for him and it's more a later game play. I just don't see the reasoning since the opponent was going to presumably build his board presence. Also, is gormok and quartermaster synergestic with secrets? Oh, they aren't. So hypocritical.
+Sean Su considering face hunters were what drove me away from the game (I hadn't played in a year until Grand Tournament), I'm absolutely fine with the salt. Fuck face hunters, the fun-ruining pricks.
+Thomas Gardiner agreed. Though personally I say fuck all netdeck users because seriously make your OWN deck is half the bloody game and of course if you are playing face hunter or have looked up a guide on how to use the deck you pretty much get rid of the other half of the game as well...
+TheDieThrower don't know where you talking about play face hunter easy ranking and now easy free cards double win and the salty people are the best can laugh my ass off about that one
If you don't mind me asking. There is a particular VoD that is couple of years old. 4 years I believe(Both parts of I Suck Less at Street Fighter). I was able to watch that VoD before TB did the whole VoD up for subs instantly. And now I can't find a way to watch the VoD itself. Does TB have a policy on older VoDs or are all VoDs up for grabs in the same manner as the ones here?
what band is playing at the 17 minute mark. I can't tell and any search i do either by trying to type out the lyrics that i hear or a sound search comes up with no results ;w;
You could sort of say the fact people never full commit to gimmicks is a sign of either badly designed cards or cards designed to add numbers but never be used.
+Barnesofthenorth That, and it seems to me Blizzard wants a clear split between casual and hardcore players (yeah I know, they want HS to be for "everyone", but the fact of the matter is anybody who wants to get anywhere will have to consult the Internet at some point, which removes the casual tag in my opinion). Which would be fine by me. The problem is that thus far they are doing a pretty shit job at getting there. Tavern Brawl is fun and all, for about 2-3 hours after it launches, after that you see the same hearthpwn decks 8 out of every 10 matches. Would love to see something like a tribal wars mode (all pirate, dragon, mech, murloc etc. decks, changing weekly), but considering it took them 2 years to make ranked play at least slightly attractive to casuals (the chest rewards), I'm not going to hold my breath.
if you had the weapon the buffs every minion you summon at the cost of one durability and the Nobel sacrifice would the weapon buff the defender before said defender got hit? Because otherwise I think the only way to have a living defender is to use the secret that revives a minion.
+TheDieThrower also if you have a knife juggler and they attack with a 1 health minion the knife happens as soon as the sacrifice is summoned, potentially killing the attacking minion, and saving the 2/1 dude
Is it just me or are dragon decks a bit OP as holy hell as well? playing a paladin dragon guy and every dragon seems to have fantastic cost / health attack ratio AND a great battle cry making them super effective and cost effective.
Well I don't know if paladin would be the best thing for it I just happened to see them being used by one, and it could be I just saw the tiny number of dragons that are way to powerful while the others are bad. All I can say is the ones I saw were god damn powerful for the cost.
+ColtaineCrows you get 10 full mana crystals, ac does not give you an extra mana crystal like wild growth does only the extra ones you might need to add up to 10, so no excess mana cards would be possible. edit .... seems it does give you an excess mana card even though ben brode said it does not.
TB has every right to hate face hunter and much as he does, I know I do too, if I ever met anyone that played face hunter in real life they would get a swift slap to the face, like seriously, If Hitler 2.0 came around and committed genocide on everyone that plays face hunter, I would be completely fine with that.
+Ragnaros 1001 the inspire mage. He didn't take all the possible inspire cards and instead went for the things that buff his hero power so the deck was good.
Thank you! TB gets the stupid naming people give decks. I was trying to look up deck lists for ideas for my Demonlock deck and the closest thing i could find by searching "Demon Lock" was a handlock variant that ran malganis instead of another form of removal and i'm just sat there thinking that this is horse shit :P
Arion Richter That doesn't work :P You need some removal and tbh, the deck is fine, RNG just keeps making me discard jaraxxus and Malganis whenever i summon the 5/7 charge
+Jamie Ellis DO IT ANYWAY I have a deck made entirely up of demons and cards that interact with demons, I do pretty alright with it, things like demonwrath are decent and demonfuse is good for getting off the ground in the early despite the mana crystal you give them. Bane of Doom is also great for some fun RNG and I don't run any of the discard demons, if you realy want a two drop now you can replace the succubus with the wrathguard.
*snerks* OH HEARTHSTONE PLAYERS! DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR, PLAY YOUR FAVORITE DECKS, AND FEEL THE POWAH! Fun video, but now that ive had to fight variants of the "riddlerdin" on ladder, im particularly annoyed (yes i am). oh, and i still find it amusing control is the most annoying in several other card games, but its aggression decks that get such colorful nick names and hate in hearthstone. sounds like people enjoy losing 10+ minute matches then shorter ones.
The thing is that I prefer to just lose slowly and have chances to come back, rather than just be crushed by turn 4 by a face hunter. Hell, double combo druid isn't as bad, at least it doesn't burst you on turn 4
underpantcockroach guess we think differently on that one. id rather lose swiftly then do well the bulk of the game, and then slowly watch as my advantage tick-ticks away to nothing over time, and then a certain play completely clinching any comebacks. nowadays with so many random cards that aren't all predictable, that happens a fair amount, especially when i run control vs another or a longer end combo deck. the other day i played a game where due to health calculation vs a druid, if they had a clean enough opening they would have wiped me out from just south of full health with a force-savage, and i just barely held that one. I personally don't mind aggressive decks. if they don't result in quicker matches, those fights get more decisive, plus its much cheaper to piece these together and mess with those variants then the sometimes multi-legends you need for some decks to work, or at least work at their best. I just find it amusing to have come from a game where control was the style of gameplay slapbacks people seemed to hate (counterspell this and that action..), to a supposedly more casual game where aggro decks are referred to with the names of diseases. I get being mad at to many swift deaths, but these days its more than just aggro decks that could pull hair out. first time I ever faced riddlerdin, my brain skipped a beat. first times trying spellslinger, and giving my opponent the winning card. Ram Wrangler into a legendary beast, so suddenly yer facing king krush outta nowhere (rather would be RKOed...), nevermind the myriad of ways the random cards fall along with just those days you mulligan and get back worse results. yeah, it sucks getting ground by aggro sometimes, but sometimes thats better then another "wacky highlight reel moment" completely ruining your winning game and pulling the opponent out of the fire. at this point ive imbibed in that a fair deal both ways. (Murloc knight spawning another murloc knight spawning another, anyone?)
+Jagethemage Actually, it could. If you get all the patron's to 1 HP while the board is full, they can't spawn anymore, and then you just run Dreadsteeds into them so they die. Of course, getting a Warsong Commander as Warlock isn't that easy...
TB: Everything is solved with drugs and surgery! What a world we live in, taking drugs in response to conditions introduced by other drugs, surgery and medical procedures. I question how people can possibly live this way.

I love how much of a hypocrite he is. Salty over gimmick decks, salty over meta decks and, well just generally salty. He think that his ideas are original He is literally complaining about face hunter being unoriginal while playing a deck that has been in the game since Alpha - Ramp Druid.
When referring to the "Face hunter", he is talking about a specific deck, not a gimmick. The "ramp druid" gimmick he's playing is far from being the optimal ramp druid everyone's seen before and focuses more on cards that reduce mana cost, not the few good ones that every cookie-cutter deck ripped off hearthpwn does. Nobody uses Pint-Sized Summoner. His is custom-made. That hunter's was not. Besides, I'm pretty sure that no deck that existed in Alpha contained cards such as Darnassus Aspirant or Grove Tender. You're full of bullshit.
You're taking his comments too serious. He was not "salty" at any point in this video. He may making criticizing comments (like with the paladin who had secrets, but was not a "gimmick" deck) but that's what he does. Also claiming the "deck that has been in the game since Alpha" when referring to a main mechanic of a class is hilarious. " Totems, in Shaman? How unoriginal. Healing, as a Priest? Lame. Things that have synergy with other things? OH MY."
Derzak No you dipshit, but the basic cards that make Ramp, Ramp have been in the deck since Alpha. Obviously since then other cards have been added and optimized, but the core mechanics have stayed the same, so yes, TB is using the same "original" deck that has existed for 2 years now.
MarkOfTzeentch Have to agree with you on this one. Ramp's been around for a long-ass time. Sure, new cards have made it slightly more playable (Read: 18 or lower), but the gimmick of "Get more mana than the other guy" has been there.
TB getting ragey on Face Hunters is the best thing ever. "You want some face? HAVE SOME FACE!"
+TheMortonator
and the music that was playing at the time was perfect for a raging TB

TB what is the name of the cd collection you are playing I love it and want to find it to buy
+Riavkcin Its the guilty gear soundtrack. He said he bought it from a Japanese website. So your best bet is to do something like that.
anyone got playlist or name for the southtrack he using n this video ?
My video suggestions are extremely random.

Kek
+Fedarik Damn, I missed it... Well done sir, well done.
+Youp1man "How to eat a beggar"

Gay albino Hentai?
Oh wait that one is recommended nvm.
I came here for Pirate Rouge, why you do dis?
Is it just me or are dragon decks a bit OP as holy hell as well? playing a paladin dragon guy and every dragon seems to have fantastic cost / health attack ratio AND a great battle cry making them super effective and cost effective.
+Barnesofthenorth if so, why isn't paladin dragon being played?
Well I don't know if paladin would be the best thing for it I just happened to see them being used by one, and it could be I just saw the tiny number of dragons that are way to powerful while the others are bad.

But the only thing Dragons are super-effective against are other dragons....
and TB joins the club of ADD, we welkom you brother.
51:21 WHY YOU DO THIS!
Jesus christ, everything about the Guilty Gear Xrd OST is so fucking good
Would be great if hunter had different play styles
56:26 If the face plays taunt, me still go face
What happens if you play Astral Communion on 10 mana?
I believe you get an excess mana card, same as with Wild Growth.
It's like wild growth so you'll get a card
+ColtaineCrows you get 10 full mana crystals, ac does not give you an extra mana crystal like wild growth does
only the extra ones you might need to add up to 10, so no excess mana cards would be possible.
edit ....
seems it does give you an excess mana card even though ben brode said it does not.
+CrunchyF123 That was corrected in a later Tweet.
I lust love TB's aggro towards FaceHunters. I'm glad I'm not the only person who hates them!
TB has every right to hate face hunter and much as he does, I know I do too, if I ever met anyone that played face hunter in real life they would get a swift slap to the face, like seriously, If Hitler 2.0 came around and committed genocide on everyone that plays face hunter, I would be completely fine with that.
"Commit fully to the gimmick or don't commit at all."

+Queen Bitch KaNoMiko Obviously he learned.
+blackspy025 He was saying the exact same thing back then, though.
I can't remember last time he DIDNT commit fully to a gimmick deck
+Ragnaros 1001 the inspire mage. He didn't take all the possible inspire cards and instead went for the things that buff his hero power so the deck was good.
+TheDieThrower it was more of a hero power Mage gimmick and inspire has to do with hero powers
fact that this deck is from the devil himself 20:54 look at his hand
tho, i guess face hunter is a fast way to rank up
but it's just mindless grinding and if you have to grind away without truly having fun there is no point to playing the "game".
The guilty gears soundtrack is fucking metal
this is where the cancer pally started
I just heard totalbiscuit Say wanker. Mayby he isn't that clean innocent really Nice brittishman.
Thank you! TB gets the stupid naming people give decks. Arion Richter That doesn't work :P You need some removal and tbh, the deck is fine, RNG just keeps making me discard jaraxxus and Malganis whenever i summon the 5/7 charge
+Jamie Ellis DO IT ANYWAY

Bane of Doom is also great for some fun RNG and I don't run any of the discard demons, if you realy want a two drop now you can replace the succubus with the wrathguard.
+Jamie Ellis I can give you mine. It is a full demonlock which does surprisingly well. It got me to rank 14.

I was wondering what's up with his fast-talking & rambling, he's on fucking speed lol.
endless dreadsteed / warsongcommander could not clear a single patron, letalone an entire board lol
+Jagethemage Actually, it could. If you get all the patron's to 1 HP while the board is full, they can't spawn anymore, and then you just run Dreadsteeds into them so they die. Of course, getting a Warsong Commander as Warlock isn't that easy...
Vidimir Rayne
would have to be an absolutely full board then
No, because everytime you hit a patron, another one spawns, therefore you can MAKE them have a full board.
Vidimir Rayne
ok so that would actually work
From now on, Il always have a mystic in my deck :3

OH MY."

No you dipshit, but the basic cards that make Ramp, Ramp have been in the deck since Alpha.
Obviously since then other cards have been added and optimized, but the core mechanics have stayed the same, so yes, TB is using the same "original" deck that has existed for 2 years now.

Have to agree with you on this one. Ramp's been around for a long-ass time. Sure, new cards have made it slightly more playable (Read: 18 or lower), but the gimmick of "Get more mana than the other guy" has been there.
Anyone know the song playing during 19:25?
