I got mine recently the V2 version, I bought a pair of joy con so I can play up to 4 players. I'm so happy for the buy! Overcooked 2 and Super Mario Party are my recommendation.
I bought the Totk Oled last June as my first Switch. I've pretty much played it every day since I purchased it, but mostly on handheld because I've grown fond of handhelds since I only had a gameboy when I was younger.

That oled model looks stunning! I love the color choices for the accessories i always loved the cyan and that light green, i have a 2017 switch (V1) bought it from day 1 and never had any trouble with it!... Until now, it's showing its age and im getting a Tears of the Kingdom oled switch this sunday!!
Hi! Just a tip from a Nintendo player when putting on your thumb grips flip the sides and place it how you want it then push the sides down that I hoped it helped😅

I haven’t been able to really enjoy using the nintendo bc of my studies and bc I had no good games at first and lost motivation. I gave myself the pink one for my 59th birthday a week ago today on Wednesday November 8th and the blue one I'm putting up for Christmas for myself. I love playing Animal Crossing New Horizons and Minecraft too. I love building in Minecraft. Even though I have the Oled Switch I been finding myself playing the Switch Lite since I gave myself the pink one for my birthday last week. I even bought my favorite card game Uno last week from the eshop. I guess it's probably because the Switch Lite is lighter and I also bought a Skull & Co clear grip case and max carry case if it too and I have been loving it a lot!!! 🤗🎮❤️🤗🕹❤️
I have the original model, I think. I bought it early 2021 when they were still hard to find. And I bought myself & my 2 sons a Switch Lite. I have turquoise, my oldest has grey and my youngest has, well had yellow. His fell in the toilet and isn’t repairable (we tried) so I’m going to give him mine and I’m still trying to decide if I’ll grab myself another one or not since I don’t play often
i got the v2 regular switch in 2019. asked my mom for the new zelda oled as a "going away" gift and surprisingly she said yes. as long as it’s still in stores in about 3 and a half weeks i can get it😬😬😬

Honestly digital isn't as good as a physical cartridge. The price tends to be more expensive than digital but not if you know where to buy. The feeling when inserting them in is too good.
I do like having the physical collection of games but I have very young nieces and nephews. I don't think they are ready to take care of those just yet haha.
I’m not completely sure but I did get a second case that is more skin tight. It is the Tomtoc Slim Carrying Case on Amazon. I use this one more because the majority of the time I only want to carry the switch by itself. It has great reviews.

Those just came in my package. I think its just to match the full aesthetic. When my nieces and nephews play they tend to pop off. I don’t think you need them at all. 🤷🏽♀️
I have put my OLED in a Nintendo switch x 1 case before and it was fine. I guess it just depends on how the brand makes the inside. Some are fully hollow and some are cut out to fit the buttons… if that makes sense.

And I edit all my videos with LumaFusion. It’s a one time payment of $30 and I love it! Surprised it’s not talked about more. It’s not too complex like most video editing softwares. It just right 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

you do not need a sim card, what you can put in is a micro sd card for more storage. I would personally recommend one but you dont need it immediately as you can always put the sd card in when needed :)
