It's very easy to upgrade the internal storage, I did the same thing on my 64GB model (upgraded it to 512GB) with ease (it took 10-20 mins to get all done). It's the best investment I've ever made in a long time. I'm so glad it's also a PC where you can do the normal things with it (apart from gaming). Thank you so much for the likes guys.
The best dollar per GB option is to buy 2 or more 512 GB micro SD cards, if you can manage your game library properly. For example, I will use one micro SD card for AAA games (which I won't install all of them at the same time, obviously) and use the other for emulation + indie games. And I spent less than 90 bucks on them. But that's for people who are budget-oriented. Changing the internal storage is also a good option if you don't mind the extra spending.

One benefit to upgrading the internal storage though, is not having your OS be as limited in case you want to Dual Boot with windows and not be limited in programs you install onto the internal storage. I'm not sure how well non-steam programs run on the micro SDs, especially on Windows, but I suspect they wouldn't run well, if at all.

Ugreen makes really great chargers and adaptors… but I’m waiting for them to make USB-C/thunderbolt adaptors that are more low profile, and can be used on something like an iPad, without it sticking out much. Just having one attach to the back of the iPad with a small short cable would be fine, because I don’t use mine flat on a surface much anyway.
Months later I love my Steamdeck rocking a 1TB SSD Eventually will upgrade & move everything over to a 2TB SSD like you did. Will also upgrade to a 1TB MicroSD for emulation too

I have a case on my deck to go with my skin to make it more comfortable to hold, there is a pink version of the case too so I'd imagine it would look nice as well.
6:47 the reason that the game cannot boot, is because it has a kernel level anticheat and wont let you run it unless your on windows. the steam deck uses proton and the game thinks its a windows os but it wont boot because of the anticheat. (this is all off the top of my head, idk might be wrong on stuff)

I also find it interesting how you have your Switch UI language set to Japanese while you set up your Deck in English, though to be fair, I found through a "DiY Dr K" video that the desktop Linux localisation data seem to be missing from current SteamOS releases, so the desktop mode is stuck in English while the gaming mode UI language is tied to Steam UI language settings. A German-speaking UA-cam user did make a tutorial on how to change the UI language, but it looks like something that would be wiped with SteamOS updates.
I really like this soft pink aesthetic, I like my gaming devices to be a bit girly cute, and I found that the steam deck accessories in this style where not very present
