So I had GDQ on as I was passing out after a night of drinking. I had a dream about donating to the stream, I woke up a bit before 44:59 and let me tell you I questioned reality for a couple of minutes.
I'm a time traveler and I saw this comment and decided to travel back in time and donate in your name lol, sorry. Time travel is weird, don't question it.

really wanted to see it live but couldnt because it was on at 4am and i had work. sucks to miss the meme chat but this was still great. i love runs like this that had tricky skips and glitches. really interesting
They always seen to schedule the interesting games for the middle the night. During the day it's all Mario, Zelda, Mega Man and Sonic.

@@charlesajones77 Yeah I noticed that too. You'll notice the 4 franchises you mentioned happen to be some of if not the most popular gaming mascots/games of all time. You would be hard pressed to find a human being alive who hasn't once seen or heard of one of those 4 characters. Which is exactly why the games you find interesting (and the games most people find interesting) are in the middle of the night, and the 50th run of Mega Man or Super Mario Bros 3 is in prime hours. Because sadly the average twitch viewer is more likely to click on Mario or Mega Man rather than God Of War 2.

One of those rare Games that can't get ruined by a speedrun. You want to get moving and slay as many opponents as possible in this game.

When u have finished the game, u can play again with the mode u had been before but with all the item nd stuff...like infinite magic and maxed magical weapon. Tht is the reason why he can play with tht skins too..cod of war. Tht is bonuses when u beat the game

Can someone tell me why no one does speed runs in English?
2 reasons: you play the same game so much that constantly hearing the same English lines becomes incredibly irritating, and some languages are simply quicker in cutscenes or textboxes than english.
@@katzenhai8289 In this particlar GDQ run, I chose the japanese version since it censors most of the nudity present in the game.
When's the level 999 Dark Souls 3 glitch run? I'm sure it'll be VERY tough...
Just what I was thinking, NG+ in this game allows you to huge time saves. Does it even count as a legit speedrun?
@@MarlonMacielBrando why wouldnt it. Its under the "any% ng+" there is loads of different runs like any%, glitchless, no major skips etc. Go search for what you want. All speedruns are legit for what they run. Sticking to only one run type would make alot of games boring. Having different runs, allows for variety of showcase.
Level makes no difference as for running speed in DS. Fights only consist of bosses that are allready dealt with in the most optimal and speedy fashion at very low levels, so you'd probably save a few seconds, that's all. A lot of DS runs use glitches, depends on the category. This GoW run isn't less of a challenging feat to pulloff despite being NG+.
The other comments already explained the important stuff, also the max level in DS3 is 802 btw

The Any% run has unskippable cutscenes, I have no idea how downtime is wanted during a speedrun.
Speedrunners don't usually like cutscenes
Speedruns are based on skipping as much as possible. So whats the problem. Its any% ng+ not any% no cutscene skips

I am a little confused. How does one "cheat" in speed runs? Swimming through the air and walls, Spear jumps etc seem like a cheat to me.

You do understand that the idea of a speed run is to finish the game as fast as possible, right? Why would the runners do any difficulty other than easy? It's obvious that the harder difficulties will take longer.

You launch/ hold triangle, use magic, turn off the relic, then you get that extra jump height
