4K Walking Tour 🍋 Garda's lake HANGED cyclopist 🍋 Limone sul Garda, Brescia 🍋 Italy

The Garda cycle path is a cycle/pedestrian path in the province of Brescia that connects Limone sul Garda to the border of the province of Trento, towards Riva del Garda, in Italy: it is a highly suggestive cycle/pedestrian and pedestrian itinerary, which takes place over the Brescia side of Lake Garda. Alongside the state road 45 bis Gardesana Occidentale.
The 2.5 km itinerary was inaugurated on 14th July 2018 and runs along a spectacular stretch of coast overhanging the lake and anchored to the rock, between Limone sul Garda and the border with Trentino towards Riva del Garda. This new section will join the 4 km one, which starts from the southern area of ​​the town of Limone up to Capo Reamol, inaugurated in May 2013.
The new section promises to be one of the most spectacular in Garda and in Europe and is part of the "Ciclovia del Garda" (Garda by bike) project, a work of over 140 km provided for by a national memorandum signed in 2017 by the minister of Infrastructures and by the Tourism Councilors of Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino. The entire Garda by Bike project should be completed by 2021, with a total cost of approximately 102 million euros.
On the border between the two provinces there is a monument dedicated to the workers who died in the construction of the SS45 Bis consisting of a monumental balcony overlooking the lake. The site is "cut" in two by the border and can be seen by the presence of a waste collection basket and an information panel bearing the emblem and name of the Municipality of Limone sul Garda (Brescia) and a road sign of the Alto Garda and Ledro Community of the province of Trento.
