For people wondering changing the screen resolution dowent matter much as it only increases the gpu usage a bit but will not consume massive battery in basic tasks as either way all the pixels in the phone will be used in both scenarios and itll only matter if youre doing a high end task like gaming or somethingthen only resolution matters so if you're an regular normal user with no high end tasks resolution dosnt matter itll be a different of 2 or 3 percent max in normal usage.

I didn't realise how bad the battery life was on the 12. I've been saying for ages the SD 8 gen 2 seemed to be an insane chipset, Qualcomm should've taken a break for 3 years after that cuz the 8 gen 2 was a miracle worker. We should've had 2-3 generations of phones just using this chip with software optimisations

The 8 Elite, much like its cousin, the X Elite, had diminishing returns in efficiency when you do more intensive tasks. It is fantastic for light usage, but for gaming and the camera, it will have issues, heat and SOT less than other chips.

Yes it is accurate to the phones actual performance in battery drain but this is not real life performance. My Sony Xperia 1 mk 6 has a 5000mah battery and I get around 40 to 44 hours between 100% and 1% and that includes 9 to 10 hours of screen on time and that's at work and at home using mobile data because I have unlimited so the Sony really is a two day phone like they say it is !

You should make this same video but show the time it takes to charge from 1% to 100%. Many other reviewers are showing odd results for the 13R. one said 55 minutes to get to 100. The other said 40 minutes. Both are odd. The 12R was able to charge to 100% in 25 minutes.

OnePlus 13R battery is not a major improvement over 5500 mah of OnePlus 12R. Just few minutes difference not worth it also it's a downgrade with 80W charging compared to 100W on 12R. Huge letdown by OnePlus downgraded capacity compared to the Chinese unit.
